The outcome of an election may shake a nation, but it can never shake the eternal Kingdom of God—for the Remnant’s hope rests not in the promises of men, but in the covenant faithfulness of our Lord Jesus Christ!

“Some of the greatest lessons of faith are not learned on the mountaintop, but in the valleys where our trust in God is tested, our convictions are refined, and our dependence upon Him becomes unshakable.”

Remnant of the Lord, the results of last night’s elections may have left many discouraged, frustrated, or deeply concerned about the direction of our nation. But let me remind you of something we must never forget: The Kingdom of God has never depended upon the outcome of an earthly election! Presidents come and go, political parties rise and fall, and the kingdoms of men continually shift. Yet the throne of our Lord remains established, His covenant remains unbroken, and His eternal purposes have never been threatened by the decisions of men.

Now, let us be honest. Elections have consequences, and some consequences are far more serious than others. We would be spiritually irresponsible to pretend otherwise. The decisions made at the ballot box can affect our families, communities, religious liberties, economic stability, and the moral direction of a nation. And yes, I believe we may be entering a turbulent two years, with challenges that will test both our national resolve and our spiritual convictions. But turbulence does not mean abandonment, and opposition does not mean defeat. The same Lord who sustained us as we approached this election will remain faithful in the days that follow it.

Throughout Scripture, we discover that some of God’s greatest warriors were forged in the valleys of adversity. David faced Goliath before he occupied the throne. Joseph endured betrayal and imprisonment before stepping into his assignment in Egypt. Daniel stood faithfully in Babylon, surrounded by a culture that opposed the very God he served. Their opposition did not cancel their calling; it became the very ground upon which their faithfulness was demonstrated. The valley is not always evidence that God has abandoned His people. Sometimes it is the very place where He is preparing them for the battles and victories still ahead.

And here is something the Remnant must understand: God never promised that His people would live without opposition, but He has promised to remain faithful in the midst of it! Spiritual maturity is rarely developed through comfort. Opposition exposes what we truly believe, adversity reveals where we have placed our confidence, and seasons of difficulty teach us to stand when everything around us appears to be shaking. A warrior who has never faced resistance has never discovered the full measure of his endurance. But those who have learned to trust the Lord in the valley will recognize His faithfulness when they stand upon the mountain.

THREE SCRIPTURAL ANCHORS FOR THE DAYS AHEAD

1. CAST YOUR BURDENS UPON THE LORD — PSALM 55:22

“Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.” (KJV)

Notice that David does not declare that the righteous will never experience burdens. Rather, he reveals what the righteous are instructed to do with them! We are not called to carry the weight of a nation’s future upon our shoulders as though its survival depends entirely upon our strength. We are called to pray, stand in righteousness, exercise discernment, and trust the covenant faithfulness of our Lord. When the burden becomes heavy, cast it upon Him. When the circumstances become uncertain, remember that His faithfulness is not.

2. FIND YOUR REST IN CHRIST — MATTHEW 11:28–30

“Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” (Matthew 11:28, KJV)

Jesus never invited His disciples into a life free from responsibility, but He did invite them into a life governed by His presence. There is a tremendous difference between carrying the burden of the world and carrying the yoke of Christ. One will eventually crush us; the other teaches us to walk in His strength. In the turbulent days ahead, the Remnant must resist the temptation to become consumed by political anxiety, endless speculation, and fear-driven predictions. Our responsibility is not to control tomorrow but to remain surrendered to the One who already holds tomorrow!

3. STAND TOGETHER AND BEAR ONE ANOTHER’S BURDENS — GALATIANS 6:2

“Bear ye one another’s burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.” (KJV)

Perhaps one of the greatest opportunities before the Ecclesia is the restoration of genuine covenant fellowship. When society becomes divided, the people of God must demonstrate what it means to walk together in love, truth, humility, and faithfulness. We were never called to fight our spiritual battles in isolation. We are members of one Body, governed by one Spirit, serving one Lord. The coming season should drive us deeper into prayer, stronger in discipleship, more intentional in fellowship, and more committed to caring for one another.

OUR CONFIDENCE HAS NEVER BEEN IN EARTHLY KINGS!

Psalm 20:7 declares:

“Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the LORD our God.” (KJV)

Our hope is not in horses or chariots, presidents or political parties, earthly kings or the promises of men. Our confidence rests in the covenant faithfulness of the living God! We are citizens of a Kingdom that cannot be shaken, servants of a King who cannot be removed, and witnesses to a Gospel whose power cannot be overturned by an election.

And let us not forget the words of Hebrews 12:28:

“Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear.” (KJV)

Church, that is not an invitation to retreat from our responsibilities as citizens. It is a reminder that our Kingdom identity must always govern our earthly citizenship. We must continue to speak truth, contend for righteousness, defend what is just, pray for those in authority, and refuse to surrender our biblical convictions to the shifting winds of political culture.

But we must also remember that our greatest weapon has never been a ballot, our greatest victory has never been an election, and our greatest hope has never been a political leader. Our hope is Jesus Christ, our victory is grounded in His finished work, and our assignment is to faithfully advance the Gospel of His Kingdom!

So, Remnant, lift up your heads!

Do not allow political disappointment to become spiritual defeat. Do not allow the uncertainty of the next two years to rob you of the joy of the Lord today. And do not mistake a difficult political season for the absence of God’s sovereign government.

Pray for America. Pray for those who have been elected, whether you voted for them or not. Pray for wisdom, repentance, righteousness, and mercy. Strengthen your families, encourage your brothers and sisters, build genuine Kingdom fellowship, and continue the work Christ entrusted to His Ecclesia.

THE ELECTION MAY HAVE CHANGED THE POLITICAL LANDSCAPE, BUT IT HAS NOT CHANGED OUR KINGDOM ASSIGNMENT!

The Lord is still on His throne. His Word is still true. His Spirit is still at work. His covenant remains unbroken. And His faithfulness will endure long after the kingdoms of this world have passed away.

Remember, beloved, the valley is not our final destination. But neither is the mountaintop our ultimate reward. Christ Himself is our inheritance, and faithfulness to Him is our victory!

THE VALLEY MAY TEST THE WARRIOR, BUT IT CANNOT SHAKE THE KINGDOM!

“The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge.” — Psalm 46:7 (KJV)

Father, raise up a Remnant that understands its identity in Christ and refuses to surrender its inheritance to darkness. Let our lives declare that Jesus Christ is Lord over our households, our decisions, and the generations that follow.

In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Stay tuned, the journey continues…..
