Radical Disciples – A Remnant Revolution

WE CAN DISAGREE WITH DEMOCRATS WITHOUT TWISTING THE TRUTH

There is something deeply wrong when Christians believe they must rewrite history to defend a political argument. We can disagree with the Democratic Party, confront godless ideologies, expose destructive policies, and resist every agenda that opposes the Kingdom of God—but we must never twist the truth to do it. The people of God are not permitted to fight deception with deception. Truth does not need propaganda to defend it, and righteousness does not require fabricated history to strengthen its case.

The truth is that the doctrine of Manifest Destiny was birthed within a prejudiced church culture that frequently elevated white expansion, national ambition, and racial superiority above the teachings of Christ. The phrase represented the belief that the United States was destined—and even divinely commissioned—to expand across the continent. It became a powerful justification for territorial expansion, the seizure of land, and the violent displacement of Native peoples.

Do not place the name of Jesus upon something that contradicts the nature of Jesus.

Christ never commanded His disciples to seize another people’s homeland, break covenants, dominate weaker nations, or baptize political ambition as divine providence. He commanded us to love our enemies, bless those who curse us, serve rather than dominate, treat others as we desire to be treated, and seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness. Manifest Destiny did not reflect the Sermon on the Mount—it reflected the fallen world’s hunger for land, wealth, power, and control.

It was the flesh demanding the throne while religion stood nearby to perform the coronation.

This is how demonic doctrines operate. They do not always appear wearing horns and announcing rebellion against God. They often enter wearing religious garments, carrying a Bible, waving a flag, and speaking the language of divine purpose. They erase inconvenient truth, silence conviction, and give spiritual permission for the flesh to pursue what it already desires.

A demonic doctrine calls greed “blessing.”

It calls domination “authority.”

It calls conquest “destiny.”

It calls prejudice “divine order.”

It calls injustice “the will of God.”

Instead of commanding the flesh to die, it builds the flesh an altar and invites the Church to bow before it.

The forced removal of the Cherokee cannot truthfully be portrayed as an event that “birthed peace.” In 1838, more than 16,000 Cherokee people were forcibly removed from their homelands and sent westward to Indian Territory. Historical accounts estimate that more than 4,000 died from disease, exposure, starvation, and the devastating consequences of removal—nearly one-fifth of the Cherokee population.

That was not peace.

That was displacement, suffering, broken promises, grieving families, and graves scattered along a trail of human misery. Calling it peace does not redeem it; it corrupts historical truth and attempts to make injustice appear righteous. Peace built upon the forced removal and death of another people is not the peace Christ gives—it is the silence that remains after the powerful have crushed the voices of those standing in their way.

Jesus said, “Blessed are the peacemakers,” not blessed are those who conquer the vulnerable and then rewrite the record.

We must also remember that Native nations were not simply wandering groups occupying unused territory. They were peoples with governments, communities, ancestral homelands, and treaty relationships with the United States. Many of those treaties were coerced, violated, or broken when the land became desirable to settlers and speculators.

The Church must possess enough spiritual maturity to love America without worshiping America. Patriotism becomes idolatry whenever we are forbidden to acknowledge national sin. Genuine love does not conceal corruption; it brings darkness into the light so repentance, healing, and reconciliation can begin.

We do not weaken America by telling the truth about her failures. We weaken her when we replace history with mythology and teach future generations that national ambition is automatically synonymous with the will of God.

Our citizenship in Heaven demands a higher allegiance.

We do not belong first to the Republican Party or the Democratic Party. We belong to the King. Therefore, we must confront deception wherever it is found—even when it comes from our preferred political camp, our favorite leader, or the version of history we were raised to believe.

The Kingdom of God does not need us to manufacture evidence, exaggerate claims, or erase the suffering of others. The weapons of our warfare are not carnal, and neither are they dishonest. We overcome darkness by standing in truth, walking in righteousness, and refusing to place Christ’s name upon anything that His character condemns.

You may try to rewrite history all you want, but Heaven has preserved the truth—and the truth will testify.

Every broken covenant will testify.

Every stolen homeland will testify.

Every grieving mother will testify.

Every unmarked grave will testify.

And every religious doctrine that attempted to crown the flesh while silencing the teachings of Christ will eventually be exposed beneath the blazing light of Heaven.

The Church must never bless what Jesus would confront. We must never excuse what righteousness exposes, and we must never sacrifice truth upon the altar of political loyalty.

Let the Democrats be confronted where they are wrong.

Let the Republicans be confronted where they are wrong.

Let every nation, institution, denomination, and political movement stand beneath the searching light of the King.

For Heaven does not bend its truth to accommodate our party, preserve our mythology, or appease our flesh.

Heaven has preserved the record. The King is still upon His throne. And the truth will testify.

We must become the altar where the fire falls again.
