The Coming Revival

In the modern American Church, there is a growing concern among dedicated disciples of Jesus, His Spiritual Warriors. It is a concern rooted in the recognition that secularism has quietly infiltrated the very heart of our faith. The world’s spirit, disguised as modernity and progress, has seeped into our pews, subtly influencing our beliefs and practices. But there is hope on the horizon, a glimmer of light that promises a revival like no other.

The coming revival is not a mere wishful thinking; it is a prophetic call to action for all who long to see the Church restored to its true purpose. It is a call to expose the hidden influences of the world and to uncover the false teachings that have crept into our midst. It is a call to confront the pervasive grip of secularism and reclaim the undiluted message of the Gospel.

Revival, by definition, implies a restoration of something that has been lost or diminished. In the context of the modern American Church, revival means rediscovering the power and authority of God’s Word, unearthing the transformative message of salvation, and re-establishing the Church as a beacon of hope in a world desperate for truth and meaning.

To achieve this revival, we must first acknowledge the presence of secularism within our own ranks. We must recognize the subtle ways it has influenced our theology, diluted our worship, and compromised our commitment to biblical values. Only by exposing the spirit of the world can we begin to dismantle its stronghold on the modern American Church.

Moreover, we must courageously confront the false teachings that have infiltrated our congregations. From prosperity gospel to moral relativism, these erroneous doctrines have distorted the true essence of Christianity, leading many astray. By uncovering these false teachings, we can guide our fellow believers back to the solid foundation of God’s Word, restoring their faith in the one true Gospel.

But perhaps the most urgent task in this revival is to reveal the influence of secularism. Secularism, with its emphasis on self-gratification, materialism, and individualism, has seeped into the very fabric of our society. And sadly, it has not spared the Church. By exposing the ways in which secularism has compromised our values, we can reestablish a countercultural Christianity that stands against the tide of moral relativism and offers a compelling alternative to the emptiness of the world.

The coming revival is not a distant dream; it is a call to action for dedicated disciples of Jesus. It is a rallying cry to expose the spirit of the world, uncover false teachings, and reveal the influence of secularism in the modern American Church. As we embark on this journey, let us be bold in our pursuit of truth, unwavering in our commitment to the Gospel, and steadfast in our belief that the Church can once again shine brightly in a dark and secular world.

For the Remnant has received its orders from Holy Spirit, that the courts of Heaven have decreed, Now is the hour for the offensive move of the Remnant Army of the Lord. The trumpets of Heaven are sounding the alarm to send forth the Spiritual Warriors to seek out the spiritual strongholds the enemy has built within the cultures of this world that have been trojan horses, released their doctrines of deception into the Church, carried forth by human puppets of Hell.

Once these Spiritual Warriors of the Lord find them they are equipped with the power and authority of Heaven to use the the weapons of truth and love to dismantle these strongholds and release their captives. The hour of liberation is upon us, a supernatural spiritual reformation is about to unfold that the world hasn’t witnessed since the birth of the Ekklesia.

Below is the task that lies before the Remnant with the knowledge that the challenge is not above or beyond their ability, for the Lord has provided them with every spiritual weapon necessary to overcome the enemy along with the spiritual capability to win the victory. Holy Spirit has been clear in what the assignment is and has been ever so intentional as to what the spiritual strategic strategies are that they are to follow.

The Subtle Invasion of Secularism

In today’s modern American Church, there is a quiet and insidious invasion taking place. It is an invasion of secularism, a worldview that seeks to replace the authority of God with the wisdom of man. This invasion is not overt or obvious, but rather subtle and covert. It creeps into the hearts and minds of believers, slowly eroding their faith and diluting the power of the Gospel.

To the dedicated disciples of Jesus, it is crucial to be aware of this subtle invasion and to guard against its influence. Secularism is a spirit of the world that seeks to conform the Church to its values and beliefs. It disguises itself in various forms, often cloaked in the language of tolerance, progress, and intellectualism. But make no mistake, its ultimate goal is to chip away at the foundations of our faith and render the Church ineffective in its mission.

One of the ways secularism infiltrates the Church is through false teachings. These teachings may appear harmless on the surface, but they subtly distort the truth of God’s Word. They emphasize worldly values such as self-fulfillment, success, and material prosperity, while neglecting the true call of discipleship – taking up our cross and following Jesus. False teachings lead believers astray, focusing their attention on worldly pursuits rather than the eternal kingdom of God.

Another way secularism invades the modern American Church is through the influence of popular culture. The Church, in its desire to be relevant, often embraces the trends and values of the world. This compromises the purity and holiness of our faith. We see it in the music we sing, the movies we watch, and the books we read. The Church must be vigilant in discerning what is of God and what is of the world, for we cannot serve two masters.

Secularism also infiltrates the Church through a distorted understanding of grace. While grace is a beautiful and essential aspect of our faith, it should never be used as an excuse for compromise or complacency. Secularism twists grace into a license to indulge in sin, undermining the call to holy living and obedience to God’s commands.

As the Remnant of the Lord, operating in our abilities of spiritual discernment we must expose the spirit of the world hidden within the modern American Church. We must uncover false teachings and confront those who seek to dilute the truth of the Gospel. Let us be vigilant in revealing the influence of secularism and standing firm in the faith, for only then can we fulfill our mission to be salt and light in a dark and secular world.

The Dangers of Compromise

In today’s modern American Church, compromise has become an all-too-common occurrence. It is a subtle erosion of our faith, a dangerous path that leads us away from the truth and toward a watered-down version of Christianity. As the Kingdom’s Spiritual Warriors, commanded by Holy Spirit, we must be aware of the dangers that compromise presents and take a stand against it.

Compromise may seem harmless at first, as it often presents itself as a way to bridge the gap between the secular world and our faith. But make no mistake, this insidious spirit of compromise is nothing more than an attempt to dilute the power of the Gospel and conform it to the values of the world. It seeks to please man rather than please God.

One of the most significant dangers of compromise is the hidden infiltration of the spirit of the world within the modern American Church. As followers of Christ, we are called to be in the world but not of the world (John 17:16). Yet, compromise blurs the lines, making it difficult to distinguish between what is godly and what is worldly. It leads to a lukewarm faith, where we pick and choose which aspects of the Bible to follow based on our own desires and the ever-changing trends of society.

Furthermore, compromise allows false teachings to seep into the fabric of the Church. It opens the door for doctrines that are contrary to the Word of God, leading to confusion and deception among believers. We must be vigilant in uncovering these false teachings and standing firm on the unchanging truth of the Gospel. Without a solid foundation in God’s Word, we are susceptible to being led astray by the cunning lies of the enemy.

Perhaps one of the most alarming dangers of compromise is the influence of secularism within the modern American Church. Secularism seeks to remove God from every aspect of our lives, replacing Him with humanism, materialism, and moral relativism. When compromise takes hold, we unwittingly become vessels for secular ideologies, diluting the power of our faith and conforming to the world’s standards rather than God’s.

As dedicated Spiritual Warriors, as the Remnant of the Lord, must recognize the dangers of compromise and take a stand against it. We must be diligent in exposing the spirit of the world hidden within the modern American Church, uncovering false teachings, and revealing the influence of secularism. Let us not be swayed by the ever-changing tides of society but stand firm on the unchanging truth of God’s Word. Only then can we truly be a light in the darkness and effectively impact the world for Christ.

The Call to Discernment

In the modern American Church, a subtle but dangerous influence has taken hold – the grip of secularism. This insidious force has infiltrated the very core of our faith, leading many astray and compromising the integrity of the Church. It is a call to arms, a call to discernment, for dedicated disciples of Jesus to rise up and expose the spirit of the world hidden within our midst.

Secularism has blurred the lines between biblical truth and the values of society. It whispers enticing lies, tempting believers to compromise their convictions and conform to the ever-changing whims of culture. False teachings have seeped into our pulpits, disguised as progressive ideologies and watered-down messages. It is imperative that we uncover these falsehoods and reclaim the purity of the Gospel.

To answer this call, we must first understand the influence of secularism. It is a mindset that places human reason and desires above God’s Word. It exalts the individual and dismisses the authority of scripture. In doing so, it erodes the foundation of our faith and replaces it with moral relativism.

Discernment is the weapon we must wield against this encroaching darkness. We must diligently study the Word of God, immersing ourselves in its truth and allowing it to shape our thoughts and actions. We must be vigilant in recognizing false teachings and exposing them for what they are – distortions of God’s Word.

But discernment is not limited to knowledge alone. It requires a heart surrendered to God, a spirit that seeks His guidance and wisdom. It is a call to prayer, to seek the Holy Spirit’s leading in all aspects of our lives. Through prayer, we can discern the spirit of the world that seeks to infiltrate our churches and counteract it with the power of God’s truth.

As dedicated disciples of Jesus, we have a responsibility to stand against the influence of secularism in the modern American Church. We must be bold in our proclamation of the Gospel, unafraid to confront false teachings and expose the lies that threaten to dilute our faith. It is through discernment that we can reclaim the Church’s true identity as a beacon of light in a dark world.

The call to discernment is not an easy one, but it is a necessary one. It is a call to be vigilant, to be unwavering in our commitment to God’s Word. It is a call to expose the spirit of the world hidden within the modern American Church, to uncover false teachings, and to reveal the influence of secularism. Let us heed this call, for the sake of our faith and the future of the Church.

I will leave you with this prayer from the Apostle of Grace, Paul:

Therefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and charity unto all the saints, cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers; that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him;  illuminating the eyes of your understanding, that ye may know what is the hope of his calling and what are the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints. If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. (2 Chronicles 7:14)

Spiritual-Warefare

The greatest wall that this nation needs has already been paid for.

If we (God’s people) will humble ourselves, repent for seeking after our own desires.

Repent for hiding under the umbrella of selfishness, reject the spirit of religion.

Welcome the fires of holiness, dedicating every part of our lives unto the consecration of the Lord Jesus Christ.

We would see a spiritual dome over this nation in the form of the Presence of the Lord that would be so powerful it would make Israel’s iron dome look like a toy.

Or we can be like ancient Israel, continue believing our protection is by our might, remaining entrenched in the rhetoric of political discussions that the enemy joyfully has engaged us with and watch this nation fail.

For our wrestling match is with persons without bodies, against rulers with various areas and descending orders of authority against the world dominators of this present darkness Spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenlies  (2 Corinthians 10:4, Derek Prince Translation)

Do not be fooled nor deceived into believing this is a mere political battle.

It is a spiritual battle and we must put on the whole armor of the Lord, and hit the prayer rooms, hold all night prayer services.

We as a Body of believers have surrendered so much of our inheritance to the world.

We’ve entrusted our lives into the hands of wicked councils influenced by the spirit of this age.

Over the centuries since the first Church in the book of Act’s we’ve witnessed the Church ever so slowly lose its vision of the healing power of the Lord.

To today where we have for the most part put our faith in science and men of medical means.

We’ve allowed the Gospel message of Christ’s kingdom turn into a watered down self-indulgent message that bears no heavenly good news at all.

We’ve allowed holiness to be replaced with greediness, allowed the standards of Biblical morality to be replaced with the moral less values of this world.

Much of the Church has become a reflection of the society it is in rather than transforming the society to resemble the Kingdom of God.

We have entrusted our children to the government schools where the anti-Christ spirit is having a hay day.

As it slowly replaces truth with the twisted and distorted lies of the enemy calling right that which the Lord calls unholy and abominations.

We’ve allowed our colleges that were once founded upon the Word of God turn into the vilest institutions of demonic influence to a higher degree of wickedness.

We’ve replaced family time, with “me time”.

We’ve turned Sundays into a fast-food mentality organization where Church goers have been taught to simply want to rush in, get the worship of “How great we are” and “pamper my wounded ego” songs over with.

listen to a quick soothing Dr. Phil make me feel good message to at least get us to the parking lot, and then go out to be influenced by the world’s philosophies.

Or rush to the American dreams replacement of the Colosseum games of Rome style sports rather than devoting the day to our own families and the family of God.

And influencing the world by showing them the awesomeness of what it is to be a family dedicated to the Lord.

Wake up Bride!!!!

The Spirit of the Lord is crying out this very hour “Repent and turn back to your first love”.

Renounce your allegiance to the prince of the spiritual realm over this nation.

And turn back into the safety of the loving arms of your Holy Father in Heaven!!!

THE KING’S SERVANTS

My Kingdom is not of this world. If My Kingdom were of this world, then My servants would be fighting so that I would not be handed over to the Jews; but as it is, My Kingdom is not of this realm. (John 18:36)

Too many believers today are trying to find fulfillment and significance through human means. They are trying to discover their destinies through man’s methods. However, man’s methods have never accomplished God’s goals. Jesus revealed that fully when He answered Pilate straightforwardly. Jesus said, “My Kingdom is not of this world. If My Kingdom were of this world, then My servants would be fighting so that I would not be handed over to the Jews; but as it is, My Kingdom is not of this realm” ( John 18:36).

In essence, He said, “My method reflects My source.” As believers, we are called to be in the world, but not of the world. Similarly, a boat is made to be in the water but not of the water. If the boat begins to be of the water and starts taking on water inside of it, it will soon go down.

To be in the world and yet not of the world means that worldliness does not define your decisions, relationships, priorities, or even the cadence of how you flow. The King and His kingdom controls your methodology. You seek Him first.

For His Kingdom.

What good is it, my brothers, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can that faith save him? If a brother or sister is poorly clothed and lacking in daily food, and one of you says to them, “Go in peace, be warmed and filled,” without giving them the things needed for the body, what good is that? So also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead. (James 2:14-17)

cantbelieve

Are we really that blind to the attack against God is His Word?

We live in a day when we are at war on all sides as Christians. From abortion, the gay & lesbian agenda, the renunciation of all that is Christian to the out-right attack on marriage we see the battle lines not only have been drawn but they are ever increasing in size and pressing in on the Church.

We have raised a generation in the Church who has jumped on the social justice band-wagon yet they have forgone the Biblical truths as they rally for “every-one” has a right to be married, women have a right with regard to their own bodies to the support of a current president who is dead set on erasing the truth from our history and depicting Christianity as evil as the radical Islamic fundamentalist of in this hour. Look at the message from not long ago and see how it paints a picture not only of the current state of the Church but the ever increasing disobedient silence of Gods people:

We as Bible-believing evangelical Christians are locked in a battle. This is not a friendly gentleman’s discussion. It is a life and death conflict between the spiritual hosts of wickedness and those who claim the name of Christ. . . . But do we really believe that we are in a life and death battle? Do we really believe that the part we play in the battle has consequences for whether or not men and women will spend eternity in hell? Or whether or not those who do live will live in a climate of moral perversion and degradation? Sadly, we must say that very few in the evangelical world have acted as if these things are true. . . . Where is the clear voice speaking to the crucial issues of the day with distinctively biblical, Christian answers? With tears we must say it is not there and that a large segment of the evangelical world has become seduced by the world spirit of this present age. And more than this , we can expect the future to be a further disaster if the evangelical world does not take a stand for biblical truth and morality in the full spectrum of life. ~Francis Schaeffer

We are a country are not merely sitting on the cliff of moral depravity we have already begone the slide down. The hour is urgent and we must act now. We must wake up and pray like never before. We must repent and cry out to God for a Holy boldness to sweep through every Church in this nation. We need not a small reformation rather we need a tidal wave of Pentecostal flames to blow across this land with a stand against compromise and a Holy desperation for all that is good according to the Lord. We must stop the silence and release the Roar of the Lion of Judah.

spiritual-warfare-prayer

The time of comfort is over – the word tolerance has no place in the Christians life. God has given His Church the Armor to battle not to be hung up collecting dust as an antique of yesterdays war. We must enter into the command post (prayer closet) seeking the directives of He who leads the army of Heaven joining them with the army of His earthly warriors. The call to a national fast is here, the trumpets of warfare have been sounding the alarm for too long and now we must arise and gather together for the war over the greatest harvest is before us. The time of retreat is over and all who chose such are nothing more than traitors to the Kingdom. If ever the call to count the cost was most urgent it is now upon us. Do you wish to save your own life? The Lord clearly said in doing so you shall lose it. Glory be to the Lord for those who are willing to lose their lives for His sake for in doing so you shall find true life and that life is eternally abundant.

Now is the hour – are you going to stand up for Christ or are you going to remain silent for in remaining silent you make a loud declaration for the things of this world turning your back on the God who saved you!!!

The cool-aides been removed & the waters been drained – time for the True Gospel.

We can talk about love all day and try to rah, rah, rah ourselves into a hyped up emotional state and never even begin to move then enemy out of our lives one tiny inch – Its time to wake up, step up and enter the war – Hell isn’t playing games & its time we stop playing games, playing Church and start being the Bride whom our Lord went to the cross for.

Jesus isn’t looking for cheer-leaders, He’s looking for humble warrior servants who are not afraid of getting dirty by touching the lives of the unwanted, visiting the widows, taking care of the orphans and sitting in the hospital waiting rooms praying with people we don’t even know. True warriors who don’t sit around the TV all night because they are so hungry to spend their nights on their faces weeping for the lost in this nation and around the world.

You can tell the strength of the soldiers who surround you by their dedication to training, study & attention at the briefings before the battle – How many of those who sit with you on Sunday, join in when its a prayer meeting? The Bible never said a thousand excuses will drive the enemy away.

Are our meeting just a public place where information is passed and people feel good?

Or are they meeting’s where people leave changed from who they were when they entered?

Do we desire meetings that will make us feel better about ourselves or do we want meeting where Holy Ghost comes into the room and does some surgery – painful yes, but the pain is worth it as it is a purification that is needed on the road to Holiness? Because the meeting’s Jesus held were about death to self and service to others, not one step self promotion meetings to improve our opinions (pride) and motivate us too a deeper love of ourselves.

Many exclaim “Lord put the coal to my lips” yet when a little persecution comes they cry “To Hot, to hot”

Jesus never built the Church to be a social club or even a hospital, He built it to be a dominion taking, Hell smashing war machine to claim back the world by ejecting the evil one, all to the Glory of the Father by the Authority He has given us.

If we cant see the Kingdom around us its because we have not died to the world, death which gives access to Holy Ghost to enter in and open our eyes. Come on people you will never grasp the Kingdom as long as your hands are filled with the pleasures of this world. It’s time to end the traditions of men and start living the Kingdom life – An all out submitted life to Jesus as Savior, Lord, King and most of all Master. A totally surrendered life that is willing to tell Jesus “No longer my life, my dreams nor even my heart but yours and yours alone Lord”. That’s what He asks for in fact that is what He demands and nothing short of it – if you don’t believe it you better read your Bible, especially the Red Letters.

Many seem to think the Keys to the Kingdom Jesus spoke of are keys to the bank, to the pleasure club and freedom from labor. Nope, so sorry Charlie, the keys Jesus was talking about where to the storehouse for mission provisions, for opening the doors of hell which has taking captive the lost, to the prayer room with a direct line to the Throne room and to the Armory to suite up with the weapons of Spiritual Warfare.

Time to end the self preservation meetings and enter the battle field, people are dying spiritual around us as we ponder the meaning of life. Jesus summed it up – Die to self, allow Holy Ghost to transform us into His image, teach others to do the same and bring Glory to the Father.

~Russ Welch

One would think that the horrific persecution that the first church endured would have chilled the excitement of what the apostles were proclaiming in the first century. It started in Jerusalem, threats, beatings, arrests and even death. One would think that just the news of what happened to Stephen would have caused the multitudes to stop cold in their tracks. The decisions where coming down from the highest levels of the Religious communities, those who were supposedly called of God.

New believers, run out of their homes, scattered here and there throughout the Palestine region. Yet, even though they had lost their homes, they never forsook their faith. They went as far as Phoenicia, Cyprus and Antioch. So, what did they do? These first Disciples of Christ spoke the Word of the Lord, at first only to their own countrymen, the Jews. Yeshua was a Jew, born of the tribe of Judah. All His apostles, the first converts, as well as the first persecutors were Jews also. Not very long after this took place, having taken the Word outside of the ranks of the Jew’s, as the Greeks heard the gospel message, they believed as well.

“So then, those who were scattered because of the persecution that arose in connection with Steven made their way to Phoenicia and Cyprus and Antioch, speaking the word to no one except Jews alone. But there were some of them, men of Cyprus and Cyrene, who came to Antioch and began speaking to the Greeks also, preaching of Yeshua.” (Acts 11:19,20).

It was in Antioch that a major change of course took place, yet in reading the Old Testament scriptures we see how this was the Lord’s plan all along.. It was at there in Antioch that some of these Jewish disciples of Yeshua from Cyprus and Cyrene began to do something that would impact the whole world. It is of a great possibility that these were some of those who had been visiting at Jerusalem on the day of Pentecost when the apostles had first proclaimed the message of the risen Lord. Regardless of where they came from, these disciples began to preach the word not only to other Jews, but also to Greeks as well.

As the Word testifies, Yeshua had said it would be this way. We read how He had commissioned His apostles to “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit…” (Matthew 28:19). He had spoken about having “other sheep not of this fold” speaking of the Greeks as opposed to the “lost sheep of Israel” with whom He chiefly dealt with during His personal ministry on earth (John 10:16).

“And the hand of the Lord was with them, and a large number who believed turned to the Lord. And the news about them reached the ears of the church at Jerusalem, and they sent Barnabas off to Antioch. (Acts 11:21,22).

Now, when men and women teach others the gospel, there is another partner in the effort. The “hand of the Lord” is in the proclamation of the gospel to the lost. Later, Paul would refer to teachers of the Kingdom message of Yeshua as “God’s fellow workers” (1 Corinthians 3:9). How can anyone who professes to be a believer not desire such a partnership? To teach the gospel is every Christian’s duty and privilege.

We are led to believe that not everyone who believed turned to the Lord, though a “large number” of them did. It is too bad that it cannot be said that “all who believed turned to the Lord.” Also, this means that there must be a difference between “believing” and “turning” to Yeshua talked of believers who did not confess Him because they desired the approval of men (John 12:42,43). Now do you think that some believers at Antioch failed to “turn to the Lord” for the same reason? I highly expect so, given the climate of persecution.

The Word is clear in that those who turn to the Lord are those that obey His gospel. This would be those who are baptized into Yeshua for the remission of their sins (Acts 2:38, 8:12). This accomplishes, by the power of the grace of God and the blood of Yeshua, one’s sins being washed away (Acts 22:16).

“Then when he had come and witnessed the grace of God, he rejoiced and began to encourage them all with resolute heart to remain true to the Lord; for he was a good man, and full of the Holy Spirit and of faith. And considerable numbers were brought to the Lord. And he left for Tarsus to look for Saul; and when he had found him he brought him to Antioch.” (Acts 23-26a).

All these things, the sacrifice of Christ for our sins, the teaching of the gospel by disciples, and the reception of it by the lost unto salvation from sins and a new eternal hope; is by God’s grace. When Barnabas witnessed this, he rejoiced. The goal of the persecution had been to deter or stop the gospel, but it had only succeeded in causing it to be spread further.

We read how that Barnabas began at once to encourage these new disciples to remain true to the Lord. Of course, not everyone does. Persecution will drive some away; apathy others. We must encourage one another to remember our destiny if we remain true to the Lord. Salvation is way too precious a gift to treat it lightly (Hebrews 10:23-25; 34-39).

In reading about Barnabas, we see how he was known for his ability to encourage others. In fact, “Barnabas” is only a nickname given to him by the apostles. His real name was Joseph. The name “Barnabas” means “Son of Encouragement”. Oh, how the body desperately needs more like Barnabas around. The lost were converted and the converted were encouraged to become strong and remain “true to the Lord.”

“And it came about that for an entire year they met with the church, and taught considerable numbers; and the disciples were first called Christians at Antioch.” (Acts 11:23-26).

Now we read how Barnabas, having gone to Tarsus to get the new convert Saul, only recently a persecutor of the church himself, returns with Saul and they work with the church at Antioch for a year. What an awesome encouragement Barnabas must have been to Saul, for most believers were still afraid of him. Then later on we read how, Barnabas and Saul (soon to be known as Paul) will travel through Asia Minor together establishing many churches in many different cities. Antioch would become their “headquarters” from where they would launch their missions and return after completing them.

It was during this year in which Barnabas and Saul are at Antioch that the disciples were first called “Christians”. The disciples were followers of Yeshua. A disciple of Yeshua is happy to wear His name. Later, Peter tells disciples to “in that name (that is, in the name “Christian” -J.Q.) let him glorify God.” (1 Peter 4:16). Though the enemies of Christ may speak the name with a sneer, disciples wear it joyfully. The Lord has been sanctified in our hearts (1 Peter 3:15).

Not every believer becomes a disciple, but every disciple is a Christian. “And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved.” (Acts 4:12).

If the Body would walk with the same courage of the first believers, the world would be greatly impact with the gospel message today. Yet how many having come down to confess Yeshua as Lord, soon turn away, not having a discipler in their lives – to encourage them, to show them an uncompromising Christian life style. To walk with them, cry with them, rejoice with them, love on them, pray with them, and train them up in the Word.

To disciple someone can take time, a whole lot of patience and a deep well of grace & mercy – Yet it is this very act of love that is missing in the Body today. Discipleship can not be taught from the pulpit – it is relational at it’s very core.

If you have a heart for the Lord, ask Him to bring someone(s) into your life today that you can be a discipler to them. Holy Spirit will not only give you the strength, courage and desire to do such an honorable Kingdom work. He will as well carry forth and deposit into your life the godly wisdom that is needed for such a task.

For indeed we serve an Awesome God!!!
