THE TRUMPET WAS NEVER SOUNDED JUST TO WAKE US UP

There is a danger in awakening if awakening becomes the destination. We can become increasingly aware of what is wrong around us, increasingly discerning of the condition of the Church, increasingly troubled by the direction of the culture, and yet never become the people God awakened us to become. Awareness is not maturity. Discernment is not obedience. Revelation that never becomes transformation can leave a believer informed while remaining largely unchanged.

The trumpet of God does not sound merely to make sleeping people aware that they have been asleep. It sounds because there is an assignment waiting on the other side of awakening. Holy Spirit awakens us so that He can form us, and He forms us so that He can entrust us with His purposes in the earth. Awakening must therefore become formation, formation must become obedience, and obedience must eventually become assignment.

This is where the Remnant must resist the temptation to define itself merely by what it sees wrong in others. The Remnant is not called to become an angry reaction to a compromised culture or a passive Church. We are called to become a people whose lives have been shaped by the presence of God, governed by Holy Spirit, anchored in the Word, and made trustworthy enough to carry the heart of the King into the places He sends us.

THE SECRET PLACE MUST TRAVEL WITH US

The Secret Place was never meant to become a hiding place from assignment. Psalm 91 speaks of dwelling in the secret place of the Most High. Psalm 27 reveals the heart that seeks the face of God. John 15 calls us to abide in Christ. These passages do not describe temporary spiritual retreats from real life. They reveal a way of living in which the presence of God becomes the source from which everything else flows.

There comes a point in our formation when the Secret Place must travel with us. We cannot leave His presence in the prayer room and then step into our families, workplaces, communities, churches, and cities operating from anxiety, offense, ambition, or fleshly strength. The mature believer learns to carry the inward government of God into outward assignment.

That means we do not merely visit His presence when the battle becomes difficult. We learn to live from His presence before the battle ever begins. We do not enter prayer simply because we need an answer. We remain with Him because He is our life. The goal is not merely to have powerful encounters with God, but to become a people whose lives reveal that we have learned to dwell with Him.

PRAYER MUST EVENTUALLY BECOME OBEDIENCE

There is a form of prayer that becomes a substitute for obedience. We can pray for reconciliation while refusing to make the telephone call. We can pray for the poor while keeping our hands closed. We can pray for our cities while remaining disconnected from the people who live in them. We can pray for truth while refusing to speak truth when it costs us something.

Jesus told His disciples that the harvest was plentiful and the laborers were few. He instructed them to pray that the Lord of the harvest would send laborers into His harvest. Then in the very next movement of the Gospel, those disciples became part of the answer to their own prayer. The ones who prayed were the ones who were sent.

This is a lesson the Remnant must recover. The harvest often turns intercession into assignment. There are prayers God answers by changing circumstances, but there are also prayers He answers by changing the person who prayed them and then sending that person into the very situation they carried before Him.

We must therefore listen carefully when we pray. The answer may not always be something God does around us. Sometimes His answer is, “Go.”

FIRST THE ALTAR, THEN THE TERRITORY

The order matters. Before we talk about taking territory, confronting darkness, transforming culture, reforming the Church, or changing cities, the altar must first be established within us. God deals with the heart before He enlarges the assignment. He forms the messenger before He entrusts the message.

The first territory most of us will ever be asked to steward is our own inner life. Then our homes. Then our relationships. Then the places where God has actually planted us. It is easy to speak prophetically about nations while neglecting the person living across the street. It is possible to speak about spiritual authority over cities while refusing to practice integrity in our own homes.

The Remnant must become local enough that its theology leaves footprints. If our understanding of the Kingdom never touches our marriages, our finances, our neighborhoods, our churches, our workplaces, and the broken people sitting in front of us, then something is missing.

First the altar. Then the territory.

And when the altar has done its work, we do not enter territory as conquerors seeking recognition. We enter as servants carrying the presence, truth, compassion, and authority of Jesus Christ.

WE ARE RISING FOR PEOPLE, NOT AGAINST PEOPLE

The final harvest is not a slogan. It is people.

It is men and women who do not yet know Christ. It is the addicted person fighting through another night. It is the family coming apart behind closed doors. It is the wounded believer who no longer trusts the Church. It is the new disciple who needs someone patient enough to walk with them. It is the person who has fallen again and needs restoration rather than abandonment.

The Remnant must never become so fascinated with spiritual warfare that we forget what the warfare is ultimately about. We are not rising against flesh and blood. We are rising against the works of darkness that keep people blinded, bound, wounded, deceived, divided, and separated from the life of God.

The Secret Place is not an escape from people. Consecration is not spiritual self-improvement. Authority is not a platform for display. Warfare is not our identity. Ecclesia is not an exclusive club. Watchmanship is not permission to become a professional critic. Territory is not possession.

The harvest is people.

That truth must continually bring the Remnant back to the heart of Christ. If what we call revelation makes us contemptuous of people, something has gone wrong. If what we call discernment produces pride rather than compassion, we have left the heart of the King somewhere along the road.

THE REMNANT MUST RISE WITHOUT NEEDING THE SPOTLIGHT

Much of what Heaven calls significant will never trend.

A mother discipling her children may be accomplishing more for the Kingdom than someone speaking to thousands. A father restoring integrity to his household may be tearing down generational strongholds no platform will ever recognize. A recovering addict who turns around and walks patiently with another struggling person may be carrying resurrection life into a place few people will ever see.

An intercessor praying faithfully in obscurity, a teacher refusing to compromise truth, a business owner refusing corruption, a pastor caring for a small congregation with integrity, a believer serving quietly in a difficult neighborhood—these things matter in the Kingdom.

Heaven records obedience that algorithms never notice.

The Remnant must be willing to rise without applause, recognition, invitations, platforms, or titles. Our assignment is not to become visible. Our assignment is to become faithful. When God chooses visibility for an assignment, we receive it as stewardship. When He chooses obscurity, we remain just as obedient.

WE MUST RISE AS ECCLESIA

The Remnant is not being awakened into isolation. Christ is forming a people.

The biblical Ecclesia is not a collection of independent spiritual personalities each carrying their own private revelation. It is a covenant people gathered under the Lordship of Jesus Christ, governed by His Spirit, anchored in His Word, equipped for ministry, and sent into the world as a visible witness of His Kingdom.

We need one another. We need correction. We need accountability. We need the gifts Christ placed within His Body. We need apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers functioning according to His design. We need mature fathers and mothers. We need intercessors, servants, disciplers, watchmen, encouragers, teachers, and those who quietly carry burdens no one else sees.

The Remnant cannot call the Church back to Kingdom order while refusing order itself.

If we are going to represent the King, then we must learn to live as His people rather than merely as gifted individuals. The coming harvest will require more than platforms. It will require a functioning Ecclesia capable of receiving people, discipling them, healing wounds, confronting bondage, forming believers, and sending mature sons and daughters back into assignment.

THE FINAL QUESTION IS NOT WHETHER WE AGREE

There comes a point when another sermon will not answer the question. Another book will not answer it. Another prophetic word will not answer it. Another conference will not answer it.

The question becomes obedience.

We know enough to take the next step.

If God has called you back to the Secret Place, return. If He has exposed something on the altar, surrender it. If reconciliation is required, pursue it. If He has given you an assignment, stop waiting for perfect conditions. If He has called you to serve, serve. If He has placed a burden for people in your heart, move toward them. If He has called you to speak, speak with humility and courage. If He has called you to remain hidden for a season, remain hidden faithfully.

The Remnant must rise, but we must understand what that means. We do not rise from offense. We rise from the altar. We do not rise from rejection. We rise from beloved identity. We do not rise from speculation. We rise from the Word. We do not rise from emotional impulse. We rise under the government of Holy Spirit. We do not rise in isolation. We rise as Ecclesia. And we do not rise for self-importance. We rise for the harvest.

The King is not searching for celebrities. He is forming faithful witnesses.

Do not rise to become famous. Rise to become faithful. Do not rise to prove that you belong to some spiritual elite. Rise because the King has called. Do not rise against people. Rise against the works that keep people bound. Do not rise in your own authority. Rise under the authority of Jesus Christ.

Awakening was never the destination.

Awakening must become assignment.

CLOSING PRAYER

Father, thank You for awakening us, but do not allow us to become satisfied merely with being awake. Form us into people You can trust. Draw us deeper into Your presence until the Secret Place becomes the place from which we live. Search our hearts, establish Your altar within us, and remove everything that would corrupt the assignment You have placed before us.

Holy Spirit, govern us. Teach us to discern without becoming proud, to war without becoming fascinated with darkness, to speak truth without losing compassion, and to carry authority without abandoning humility. Show us where our prayers must now become obedience. Show us the people, places, and assignments You have already placed before us.

Jesus, form Your Ecclesia. Make us faithful watchmen, servants, disciplers, intercessors, teachers, fathers, mothers, and witnesses. Give us Your heart for the harvest. Keep us from seeking recognition when You have called us to faithfulness, and teach us to carry Your presence wherever You send us.

The harvest is before us. The King is on the throne. We answer Your call.

The Remnant must rise.

In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

The trumpet has sounded, and now the Ecclesia must move. We were prepared to carry Heaven’s answer into it.

DEMONIC DESIGNS: THE CHRISTIAN’S GUIDE TO UNMASKING FREEMASONRY

There are subjects the modern Church often avoids because they are uncomfortable, controversial, or deeply rooted in family and community traditions. Freemasonry is one of those subjects. For generations it has presented itself as a respectable brotherhood built around morality, charity, self-improvement, civic responsibility, and mutual support. Many of its members are sincere men who love their families, serve their communities, support charitable causes, and may even identify strongly with the Christian faith. Yet the biblical question is not whether individual members can be good men. The deeper question is whether the spiritual structure, language, vows, symbols, rituals, and worldview of Freemasonry can stand in harmony with the exclusive Lordship of Jesus Christ.

That question deserves more than rumors, emotional accusations, or internet conspiracy theories. It deserves Scripture. It deserves careful examination. It deserves the kind of spiritual discernment that is willing to look beneath outward respectability and ask whether what is being presented as light actually agrees with the Light of Christ.

The Apostle John warned believers, “Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God” (1 John 4:1). That command has not expired. Christians are not called to accept every spiritual claim because it sounds moral, ancient, charitable, or religious. We are commanded to test what we encounter against the revealed truth of God’s Word and the person of Jesus Christ.

That is the purpose behind Demonic Designs: The Christian’s Guide to Unmasking Freemasonry. The book was written to help believers examine Freemasonry through a biblical lens without falling into either extreme. We do not need careless condemnation, but neither can we afford spiritual naivety. The Church must recover the ability to distinguish between biblical truth and religious mixture, because not everything that speaks about God is necessarily submitted to God.

THE QUESTION OF LORDSHIP

Christianity is not built around a vague belief in a Supreme Being. The Christian faith rests upon the revelation of the Father through His Son, Jesus Christ. Jesus did not present Himself as one spiritual path among many legitimate alternatives. He declared, “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me” (John 14:6).

Peter carried that same message into the apostolic preaching of the early Church when he declared, “Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved” (Acts 4:12). Those words leave very little room for religious ambiguity. Jesus is not simply important to the Christian. He is Lord.

This is where believers must begin when examining Freemasonry. The issue is not whether the Lodge allows a Christian to privately believe in Jesus. The issue is whether the spiritual framework itself confesses Jesus Christ as Lord. There is an enormous difference between allowing Jesus into the room and bowing the entire room before Him.

A system can acknowledge religion while refusing the exclusive claims of Christ. It can use sacred language while remaining intentionally broad concerning the identity of God. It can encourage morality while leaving the central question of salvation unresolved. From a biblical perspective, that should immediately cause believers to examine the foundation rather than merely admire the structure.

THE DANGER OF RELIGIOUS MIXTURE

One of the recurring battles throughout Scripture is the battle against mixture. Israel repeatedly fell into trouble when the people attempted to worship Yahweh while incorporating the practices, gods, and spiritual customs of surrounding nations. The problem was not that they completely abandoned all belief in God. The problem was that they attempted to combine devotion to Yahweh with other spiritual influences.

That temptation has never disappeared.

Modern culture often teaches that religious unity requires us to downplay the differences between competing claims about God. Scripture moves in the opposite direction. God continually calls His people into covenant faithfulness, purity, and undivided allegiance.

Paul asked the Corinthian believers, “What fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?” He continued by asking, “And what concord hath Christ with Belial?” and “what agreement hath the temple of God with idols?” (2 Corinthians 6:14–16). These are not the words of a Church trying to blend every spiritual system together. They are the words of an apostle calling believers to understand that some spiritual foundations simply cannot be reconciled.

The problem with religious mixture is that it often does not look dangerous. It can sound enlightened, tolerant, charitable, and sophisticated. Paul warned that even Satan can transform himself into “an angel of light” (2 Corinthians 11:14). That means deception does not always arrive wearing darkness. Sometimes it arrives speaking about light.

Believers must therefore learn to discern the difference between true light and counterfeit illumination. Jesus Christ is not simply one expression of spiritual light. He is the Light of the world. Anything claiming enlightenment while diminishing His absolute Lordship deserves careful biblical examination.

OATHS, VOWS, AND SPIRITUAL ALLEGIANCE

Another area that Christians must examine seriously involves vows, obligations, and ceremonial commitments. Scripture treats words with far greater seriousness than modern culture often does. Jesus warned His followers against careless oath-taking and commanded them to let their yes be yes and their no be no (Matthew 5:33–37).

The issue is not that every vow automatically creates spiritual bondage. That conclusion would go beyond what Scripture teaches. The real concern is whether a believer is making promises, entering obligations, or participating in rituals that conflict with his or her already established covenant with Jesus Christ.

Paul reminded believers, “Ye are not your own. For ye are bought with a price” (1 Corinthians 6:19–20). That truth reaches far beyond personal morality. It establishes ownership. The Christian belongs to Christ.

Our worship belongs to Him. Our loyalty belongs to Him. Our identity belongs to Him. Our spiritual allegiance belongs to Him. Every commitment we make should therefore be examined in light of the covenant that has already been established through the Blood of Jesus Christ.

This is why Christians should never dismiss spiritual language, initiations, symbolic ceremonies, or solemn vows as harmless simply because they are traditional. Tradition does not remove spiritual significance. Age does not make a practice biblical. Respectability does not automatically make an organization spiritually safe.

Believers should be willing to ask difficult questions. What exactly am I promising? What authority am I recognizing? What spiritual language am I repeating? Does this ceremony align with Scripture? Does this obligation compete in any way with my allegiance to Christ?

Those questions are not rooted in fear. They are rooted in discipleship.

WHAT DOES “DEMONIC DESIGNS” MEAN?

The title Demonic Designs is intentionally strong, but it must be understood correctly. It does not mean that every Freemason is demonized, knowingly serving darkness, or participating in occult activity. Such sweeping accusations would be careless and unhelpful.

A demonic design can be understood as any spiritual structure that accomplishes purposes consistent with the enemy’s strategy revealed in Scripture. Satan has always worked through deception, mixture, divided allegiance, counterfeit revelation, pride, and the promise of knowledge separated from obedience to God.

The pattern appears as early as Genesis. The serpent did not begin by denying God’s existence. He questioned God’s Word. He then offered humanity another path to knowledge by declaring, “your eyes shall be opened” (Genesis 3:5). The temptation involved enlightenment, but it was enlightenment outside obedience to God.

That pattern continues throughout history. Whenever a spiritual system offers light while refusing the exclusive Lordship of Christ, believers should test it. Whenever a system presents progressive spiritual knowledge without making Christ supreme, believers should test it. Whenever sacred language is used in a way broad enough to accommodate contradictory understandings of God, believers should test it.

Testing is not hatred. Testing is obedience.

COMPLETE IN CHRIST

One of the most powerful answers to every form of spiritual mixture is found in Colossians 2. Paul warned the Church, “Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.” He then declared, “For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. And ye are complete in him” (Colossians 2:8–10).

Those words should settle something in the heart of every believer. We are complete in Christ.

We do not need another source of spiritual identity. We do not need secret knowledge to become more complete. We do not need another covenant, another spiritual brotherhood, or another system of progressive illumination to supply what Christ has supposedly left unfinished.

The finished work of Jesus is exactly that. Finished.

The believer has been reconciled to the Father through Christ. The believer has been sealed by Holy Spirit. The believer has been brought into the household of God and made part of the Body of Christ. Nothing needs to be added to make the Christian spiritually acceptable before God.

This is why every system promising deeper light must ultimately be measured against Christ. Does it lead the believer into deeper submission to Jesus, or does it introduce another spiritual framework alongside Him? Does it exalt Scripture, or does it place additional traditions beside biblical authority? Does it call people to bow before Christ, or merely permit Christians to interpret the system through their own religious beliefs?

Those distinctions matter.

THE GREATER ISSUE IS ALLEGIANCE

Although this discussion focuses on Freemasonry, the principle reaches much further. The Church today desperately needs to recover the biblical doctrine of allegiance.

We live in a culture filled with overlapping identities, organizations, movements, traditions, networks, and philosophies. Believers are often connected to systems they have inherited without ever examining their spiritual implications.

Some things were passed down from parents or grandparents. Other things came through professional relationships, social organizations, denominational traditions, or community involvement. The simple fact that something has existed in our family for generations does not make it spiritually healthy.

Every believer should be willing to bring inherited traditions into the light of Scripture.

There comes a moment when every disciple must ask, “Does anything in my life compete with the Lordship of Jesus Christ?” That question can be uncomfortable, but it is necessary. Jesus does not call us to partial surrender. He calls us to follow Him.

The Remnant Church must recover this kind of spiritual courage. We cannot allow fear of offending people to prevent us from examining spiritual systems. At the same time, we cannot allow zeal to turn into reckless accusation.

Truth and grace are not enemies.

We can love people while questioning systems. We can honor individuals while examining theology. We can speak clearly without becoming cruel.

That is the maturity this hour requires.

WHAT IF FREEMASONRY IS PART OF YOUR FAMILY HISTORY?

For some readers, this subject is not theoretical. A father, grandfather, husband, brother, or another family member may have been involved in Freemasonry. Some readers may have personally participated in a Lodge.

The first response should not be fear.

The Gospel is stronger than anything in your past.

If Holy Spirit reveals that you made commitments, participated in ceremonies, or entered agreements that conflict with the Lordship of Christ, the answer is not panic. The answer is repentance, renunciation, and renewed allegiance to Jesus Christ.

Scripture does not call believers to live terrified of hidden spiritual consequences. It calls us to walk in the victory of the Cross.

Colossians 2:15 declares that Christ “spoiled principalities and powers” and made a public spectacle of them through His triumph. The authority of darkness has already been decisively defeated through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Believers should therefore respond to conviction with faith rather than fear. Confess what needs to be confessed. Renounce what needs to be renounced. Forgive where forgiveness is needed. Submit your life afresh to Jesus Christ and stand firmly upon His Word.

Freedom is not found in obsessing over darkness.

Freedom is found in Christ.

WHY THIS BOOK WAS WRITTEN

We are being called back to a faith where Jesus is not merely included but enthroned, where Scripture is not merely quoted but obeyed, and where spiritual discernment is not reserved for a few specialized ministries but becomes part of normal Christian discipleship.

We are not chasing shadows. We are turning on the Light. When everything is brought beneath the Light of Jesus Christ and the authority of His Word, darkness does not need to be feared. It simply needs to be exposed, rejected, and replaced with truth.

The Remnant was not refined merely to survive the changing world.

We were prepared to carry Heaven’s answer into it.

When the Altar Speaks Louer Than the Stage

The stage may gather the crowd, but the altar carries the testimony.

The stages of men are filled with celebrities, personalities, and carefully crafted brands, but the altar of the Lord is becoming crowded with the testimonies of those who have truly been set free. While men have built platforms to magnify themselves, God is raising a people whose only boast is the blood of Jesus Christ and the mercy that pulled them out of darkness. The next move of God will not be carried by polished image, religious performance, or ministries built around human fame. It will be carried by the unmistakable evidence of transformed lives.

The current trend of selling the Gospel is about to run headlong into a remnant whose eyes burn with the same fire that burned in Jesus when He cleansed His Father’s house. The tables of religious commerce have stood too long. The Gospel has been packaged, marketed, and used to build empires around men, but the Spirit of the Lord is rising to expose what religion tried to hide. Religion has dealt its hand, and now Heaven is revealing that it never held the winning one. The Father is about to confront everything built in His name that does not reflect His heart.

What is coming will not be sustained by applause. It will be sustained by deliverance. Not by celebrity, but by testimony. Not by hype, but by holy fire. The altar of the Lord is filling up with the voices of those who have been rescued, healed, delivered, and restored. Addicts are going to testify. The broken are going to testify. Those who were bound by shame, religion, torment, perversion, fear, and despair are going to testify. And their testimony will carry more weight than the voices of a thousand polished personalities, because what God delivers, Hell cannot deny.

The stage can gather crowds, but the altar produces transformation. The stage can impress people for a moment, but the altar is where chains break, hearts melt, demons flee, and sons and daughters remember who they are. That is why the enemy has worked so hard to replace the altar with performance and presence with production. But the Lord is calling His house back to holiness, back to power, back to truth, and back to the fire of His presence.

Do not be surprised when Holy Spirit begins overturning tables again. Do not be shocked when the Lord disrupts systems that men thought untouchable. He is purifying His house, and He is raising up men and women who cannot be bought, seduced by recognition, or silenced by religious machinery. Their eyes are fixed on the King. Their hearts burn with zeal for His house. Their message is not self-promotion, but surrender. Their evidence is not branding, but breakthrough.

The hour is coming, and now is, when the altar will speak louder than the stage. The testimony of the redeemed will rise above the noise of celebrity religion. The fire is returning to the house, and it is coming through a remnant that still believes Jesus did not die to create a marketplace, but to redeem a people filled with His Spirit, His power, and His truth.

“For zeal for Your house has consumed Me.” John 2:17. “They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony.” Revelation 12:11.

The Remnant was not refined merely to survive the changing world.

We were prepared to carry Heaven’s answer into it.

A HOLY REMNANT | PART 2 OF 3

What felt like destruction may have been the furnace of preparation.

Some fires arrive without explanation. A betrayal tears through a relationship. A door closes after years of prayer. A season of physical weakness changes the rhythm of life. A ministry assignment becomes lonely, misunderstood, or costly. Sometimes the entire world around us seems to shift, and suddenly we realize that the environment in which we have been called to serve is very different from the one we once knew.

In those moments, it is easy to look at the smoke surrounding us and conclude that something has gone terribly wrong.

We often interpret suffering as disqualification. We assume that if God were truly with us, the road would be smoother, the resistance lighter, and the outcome more predictable. Yet Scripture repeatedly reveals that God forms some of His most trustworthy vessels in places where human strength becomes insufficient.

The furnace does not create our calling, but it exposes what must be surrendered so that we can carry that calling without being destroyed by it.

The holy Remnant is not simply a people who escaped the fire. It is a people who encountered God within it and emerged possessing a deeper allegiance than they carried before.

THE FURNACE REVEALS WHAT COMFORT CONCEALS

“Behold, I have refined thee, but not with silver; I have chosen thee in the furnace of affliction.” — Isaiah 48:10

Fire reveals what is present within a substance. When precious metal is heated, impurities rise to the surface so they can be removed. The process is violent toward everything that does not belong, but the purpose of the furnace is not to destroy the gold. It is to reveal it.

Spiritual refinement works in much the same way. Pressure exposes fear, pride, self-reliance, resentment, bitterness, the need for approval, and loyalties we did not realize were divided. This exposure is not an invitation to condemnation. It is an invitation to surrender.

Holy Spirit brings hidden things into the light so they no longer govern us from the shadows.

Comfort can allow false dependencies to remain concealed. The furnace makes them visible. When familiar supports disappear, we discover whether our confidence rests completely in Jesus Christ or whether some portion of our security has quietly become attached to circumstances, people, recognition, finances, political stability, cultural acceptance, ministry success, or our own ability to control the outcome.

That discovery can be painful, but it is also merciful.

God is preparing a people who cannot be purchased by comfort, controlled by fear, manipulated by outrage, or silenced by discomfort.

PETER WAS REFINED THROUGH FAILURE

Before the Cross, Peter spoke confidently about his loyalty to Jesus. He was willing to draw a sword, make bold declarations, and insist that he would never fall away. Yet beside another fire, under the pressure of simple questions, that confidence collapsed.

Three times he denied knowing the One he loved.

Peter’s failure did not become the final definition of his life. Jesus restored him, but that restoration accomplished much more than removing shame. It transformed the foundation of Peter’s courage.

The man who once trusted his own strength became a man who understood his complete dependence upon grace.

Then on the Day of Pentecost, Peter stood publicly and proclaimed Jesus Christ without the brittle confidence of self-reliance. His authority was now flowing from surrender and from the power of Holy Spirit.

Some believers look at their broken places and assume those places remove them from the Remnant. Peter’s story tells us something entirely different. When failure is honestly brought before Jesus, it can become part of the furnace through which false strength is removed and genuine spiritual authority is formed.

The fire may expose you, but exposure in the hands of Jesus can become preparation.

REFINEMENT IS NOT REJECTION

We need to make an important distinction here. Not every tragedy is directly sent by God, and biblical faith does not require us to pretend that pain is pleasant.

We live in a fallen world. Human beings make destructive choices. Nations experience violence. Families experience loss. Spiritual opposition is real. Evil ideologies rise. Governments make decisions that affect generations. Sometimes we walk through circumstances whose complete meaning we may not understand for years.

Biblical faith does not call evil good.

It declares that evil does not possess final authority over a life surrendered to Jesus Christ.

The Father can redeem what the enemy intended to use for destruction. He can turn grief into compassion, weakness into dependence, scars into testimony, opposition into endurance, and confusion into discernment.

Romans chapter 8 verse 28 does not tell us that everything that happens is good. It tells us that God is able to work through all things for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose.

That distinction is vital.

We do not blame God for every wound, and we do not grant the enemy ownership of our story.

Jesus remains Lord within the furnace.

What touched your life does not possess the authority to determine what your life will ultimately become.

THE FIRE CHANGES THE WAY YOU SEE THE BATTLE

There is another work refinement accomplishes that becomes increasingly important in times of spiritual conflict.

The furnace teaches us the difference between reacting emotionally and responding spiritually.

An unrefined believer can easily become controlled by fear, offense, anger, or outrage. When darkness appears, everything becomes personal. People become enemies. Political disagreement becomes hatred. Cultural conflict becomes an excuse for contempt. Spiritual warfare slowly becomes warfare against flesh and blood.

But the fire should be burning that reaction out of us.

A mature Remnant must be capable of recognizing darkness without becoming dark in the process.

We must be able to confront deception without becoming hateful. We must be able to identify destructive ideologies without despising the people trapped within them. We must be able to recognize spiritual forces operating through cultures, governments, movements, and systems while remembering what Paul taught in Ephesians chapter 6 verse 12: our wrestling is ultimately not against flesh and blood.

That kind of discernment does not usually come cheaply.

It is forged in the furnace.

THE MARKS OF A REFINED REMNANT

A refined believer is not necessarily the loudest person in the room. Refinement often produces something much more powerful: steadiness.

It creates people who can remain prayerful while others panic, maintain compassion while others become cruel, and speak truth without needing to humiliate another human being.

The fire removes the need to prove ourselves and replaces it with the quiet weight of knowing to whom we belong.

A refined Remnant becomes increasingly difficult for darkness to manipulate. Offense cannot easily redirect them. Flattery cannot easily purchase them. Fear cannot easily silence them. Political hysteria cannot dictate their theology. Cultural pressure cannot rewrite Scripture. Their identity is no longer dependent upon the approval of the crowd because intimacy with the Father has become their place of security.

This is why holiness is not merely a private moral concern.

Sanctification is strategic.

Every surrendered appetite closes a door to manipulation. Every act of obedience strengthens spiritual clarity. Every hidden compromise brought beneath the blood of Jesus removes something the accuser might have attempted to use against our witness.

And every wound that is healed prevents the enemy from turning our pain into hatred.

That last one matters enormously.

Because the Remnant cannot carry Heaven’s answer to darkness while secretly carrying the spirit of the darkness it has been called to confront.

THE SECRET PLACE PREPARES US FOR PUBLIC CONFLICT

Before the Remnant can properly confront what is happening in the world, it must learn to remain before the Lord.

The secret place is where our motives are purified. It is where fear loses its voice. It is where anger is brought beneath the lordship of Jesus. It is where Holy Spirit teaches us the difference between righteous discernment and fleshly reaction.

Jesus Himself lived from communion with the Father.

Before confronting religious systems, political powers, demonic oppression, sickness, unbelief, or human brokenness, He remained anchored in His relationship with the Father.

That must become the posture of the Remnant.

Otherwise we may correctly identify a spiritual enemy while responding to it with the wrong spirit.

And Heaven is not simply looking for people who can identify darkness.

Heaven is preparing people who can carry light into it.

DO NOT DESPISE WHAT GOD HAS BEEN FORMING

You may look back over the last several years and see delay, loss, conflict, disappointment, or obscurity. Heaven may see roots growing deeper.

You may see the collapse of plans you believed were essential. Heaven may see freedom from an identity that could never carry the weight of your next assignment.

You may see scars. Heaven may see evidence that the enemy struck you and still could not take your yes away from God.

The Remnant is refined, engaged, available, dedicated, and yielded. Those qualities are rarely produced through ease alone. They are formed through repeated decisions to trust Jesus when another path appears safer, faster, easier, or more rewarding.

The furnace asks a difficult question:

Will you continue belonging completely to God when obedience costs more than you expected?

Do not romanticize your pain, but do not waste it either.

Bring the disappointment, anger, unanswered questions, and places of weakness into the presence of the Father. Let Holy Spirit separate the wound from the lie that attached itself to it. Let Him show you what must be healed, what must be forgiven, what must be released, and what the fire has already strengthened within you.

Because we are entering an hour in which wounded people reacting from fear will not be enough.

The world has changed.

The spiritual battles facing this generation are real.

The ideologies confronting the Gospel are real.

The struggle for the hearts and minds of nations is real.

But the Remnant cannot enter that battle carrying hatred, bitterness, prejudice, or fear. We must enter it carrying the character of Jesus Christ, the truth of His Word, the authority of His Kingdom, the discernment of Holy Spirit, and a love powerful enough to distinguish the captive from the power holding the captive.

The fire did not necessarily disqualify you.

Perhaps it has been preparing you to stand in an hour when shallow roots will not endure.

God is raising a people whose lives have been tested, whose allegiance has been clarified, whose discernment has been sharpened, and whose worship does not depend upon favorable circumstances.

The enemy expected the furnace to consume you.

Heaven intends for your life to come out carrying fire.

A PRAYER FOR REFINEMENT AND HEALING

Father, I bring You every fire I have walked through and every wound I still do not understand. Heal what was broken, expose every lie that attached itself to my pain, and redeem what the enemy intended for harm.

Remove fear, pride, bitterness, prejudice, offense, and self-reliance, but preserve everything You have planted within me. Teach me to recognize spiritual darkness without despising the people You desire to redeem. Give me discernment without suspicion, courage without hatred, authority without pride, and truth saturated with Your love.

Make me steadfast, pure, compassionate, watchful, and wholly yielded to Jesus. Let the fire become a testimony of Your faithfulness and prepare me to carry Your presence into the battles of this generation.

In Jesus’ name, amen.

Our nation experienced a defining moment on September 11, 2001. The attacks carried out by al-Qaeda did far more than destroy buildings and take innocent lives; they helped usher America into a profoundly different national and global environment.

Twenty-five years later, the Remnant must understand the hour without surrendering to fear or hatred.

We will talk plainly about radical Islamist ideology, spiritual warfare, the struggle over nations and cultures, and the responsibility of the Ekklesia to stand against systems of domination, violence, deception, and spiritual bondage.

But we will make an equally important distinction: Muslims are not our enemy.

They are people for whom Jesus Christ died.

Our warfare is spiritual. Our Gospel remains good news. Our assignment is not hatred, retaliation, or dehumanization. It is truth, prayer, discernment, compassion, evangelism, deliverance, and the advance of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ.

THE REMNANT IS NOT A SPIRITUAL ELITE

A HOLY REMNANT | PART 1 OF 3

God is not searching for impressive people. He is awakening faithful ones.

There is a quiet misunderstanding moving through parts of the Church. It suggests that the Remnant is a spiritual upper class made up of unusually gifted prophets, recognized leaders, powerful intercessors, and believers who appear to have mastered every spiritual discipline. The word can begin to sound like a title awarded to the exceptional rather than a calling extended to the faithful.

That misunderstanding has consequences. When ordinary believers assume that someone else is more qualified to carry the burden of the hour, they withdraw to the sidelines. They admire those with platforms, wait for recognition, and quietly conclude that their prayers, testimony, obedience, and daily faithfulness cannot possibly matter very much. The enemy does not need to destroy a believer whom he can convince to remain passive.

But the biblical Remnant has never been a religious country club. It is not defined by popularity, position, education, or public recognition. The Remnant is composed of those who remain faithful to God when compromise becomes easier, more acceptable, and sometimes more rewarding.

Seven Thousand Without a Platform

“Yet I have left me seven thousand in Israel, all the knees which have not bowed unto Baal.” — First Kings 19:18

Elijah believed he was alone. He had confronted the prophets of Baal, witnessed the fire of God fall, and then found himself exhausted, threatened, and hiding. From his limited vantage point, it appeared that covenant faithfulness had disappeared from the land. Yet God revealed that seven thousand people had not bowed their knees to Baal.

Scripture does not give us their names. We are not told that they held recognized offices or stood before crowds. Heaven knew them because of the allegiance expressed through their refusal to bow. They remained faithful when the surrounding culture demanded surrender, and their hidden obedience mattered to God even when Elijah could not see them.

That is one of the clearest pictures of the Remnant. They are not always the loudest people in the room. They are the believers whose roots have gone deep enough to remain anchored when winds of deception, intimidation, and compromise sweep through a generation. They may be found behind pulpits, but they may also be found praying before sunrise, serving unnoticed, raising their children in truth, caring for the broken, resisting temptation, and refusing to deny Jesus in the ordinary places of life.

Not Perfection, but Allegiance

Calling the Remnant ordinary does not mean lowering the standard. The standard is still costly. The Remnant belongs completely to God. They allow Holy Spirit to confront compromise, cleanse divided loyalties, heal hidden wounds, and bring every part of life beneath the lordship of Jesus Christ. What changes is our understanding of who may answer that call.

No flawless spiritual résumé is required. Peter denied Jesus three times, yet restoration transformed him into a courageous witness. Gideon saw himself as weak and insignificant, yet God addressed him according to the courage Heaven had placed within him. The disciples were not chosen because society considered them extraordinary; their surrender allowed the life and authority of Jesus to become extraordinary through them.

The Remnant is therefore not a collection of people who have never struggled. It is a people who refuse to make peace with the thing from which Jesus is calling them. They may stumble, but they return. They may be wounded, but they continue yielding. They may feel inadequate, but their answer to God remains yes.

The Lie That Keeps Believers Waiting

Many sincere believers are waiting for permission that Heaven has already given. They believe they must receive a title before they can pray with authority, a platform before they can testify, or public affirmation before their obedience carries Kingdom weight. Yet the New Testament reveals an Ekklesia in which every member has a function and every surrendered life becomes a vessel through which Christ can move.

Your prayer in the secret place matters. Your refusal to participate in corruption matters. Your decision to forgive when bitterness feels justified matters. Your testimony offered to one hurting person matters. These actions may not attract applause, but they declare that another Kingdom governs your life.

The Remnant is not formed by people declaring themselves superior to the rest of the Church. Spiritual pride contradicts the very nature of the calling. A true Remnant carries humility because its members understand that they stand only by grace. They do not withdraw from the brokenness around them in contempt; they enter it carrying truth, compassion, holiness, and the presence of Jesus.

Have You Been Standing at the Edge?

Perhaps you have interpreted the fires you survived as evidence that you were disqualified. Perhaps you have watched more visible people and assumed that the real servants of God were somewhere else doing something greater. But what if the years of quiet obedience, painful surrender, and persistent prayer have been preparing you for this very hour?

The question is not whether you possess an impressive history. The question is whether your heart belongs to Jesus. Will you remain faithful when truth becomes unpopular? Will you stand in love without surrendering conviction? Will you allow God to refine you until your life becomes a clear testimony of His Kingdom?

The Remnant is not a spiritual hall of fame reserved for the extraordinary few. It is a covenant people who remain faithful when faithfulness costs something. If your knee has not bowed, if your heart still cries out for God, and if you are willing to be made ready, you are not standing outside the invitation. Heaven is calling you closer.

A Prayer of Surrender

Father, deliver me from every lie that has caused me to underestimate the calling You have placed upon my life. Strip away spiritual pride, insecurity, comparison, and passivity. I surrender myself again to Jesus Christ, and I ask Holy Spirit to refine my motives, strengthen my obedience, and teach me to remain faithful when pressure increases. Let my life become part of the holy people through whom Your Kingdom is revealed in this generation. In Jesus’ name, amen.

From Addiction and Hidden Bondage to a Life That Now Carries Freedom Into the Prisons of Others

There comes a moment when a man stops trying to explain his life through the language of survival and begins to see it through the lens of redemption. I have lived long enough to know that the enemy loves to weaponize a person’s past, especially when that past carries addiction, shame, hidden bondage, failure, and years of wrestling in places many people never saw. But I have also lived long enough to know that what Jesus Christ redeems, hell no longer has the authority to erase.

My testimony is not the story of a man who cleaned himself up, figured life out, and then stepped into ministry. My testimony is the story of a man Jesus found in darkness, carried through fire, and met with a love so holy and powerful that shame lost its grip. For years, even while studying Scripture, earning degrees, preaching, writing, and serving in ministry, there were hidden places where bondage, guilt, condemnation, and the weight of the past still tried to speak louder than the finished work of the cross.

Then came the mercy of God. The Lord did not simply give me more religious language; He brought me into an encounter with the heart of the Father that broke something deep within me. He showed me that my story was not disqualified by the broken places, but that those very places would become part of the witness He would use to reach others still trapped behind the walls of addiction, religious striving, shame, fear, and inward captivity.

This is why I believe the testimony of Jesus is not merely something we tell; it is something we carry. Revelation 12:11 says they overcame by the Blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony. That does not mean testimony is a formula or a performance, but it does mean that when the Blood of Jesus has truly marked a life, that life becomes a living witness that the enemy did not win, the grave did not have the final word, and bondage does not get to define the redeemed.

For me, this is not about building another platform, gaining another title, or creating another ministry project. This is about returning to the burning center of the call: to make the name of Jesus known and to carry the message of freedom into the prisons of others. Some prisons have bars and steel doors, but many others are hidden inside the soul, buried under years of addiction, trauma, religious condemnation, family wounds, secret battles, and identities shaped by pain.

Remnant Warrior Ministries was never meant to be a religious brand. It was birthed to help raise up a people who know how to stand in the finished victory of Christ, walk in beloved identity, break agreement with darkness, and live as sons and daughters governed by Holy Spirit. My own testimony is one of the clearest doors into that assignment because I am not preaching freedom as a theory. I am carrying witness to the One who broke chains I could not break in my own strength.

In this season, I believe the Lord is bringing me back to the heart of the ministry call. The books, the podcasts, the teachings, the commentaries, and the training resources all matter, but they must remain connected to the fire of testimony. Before people meet the author, the teacher, the pastor, or the prophetic voice, I want them to encounter the witness of a man who was rescued by Jesus Christ and now lives to tell others that freedom is still possible.

I am also sensing the Lord opening fresh doors to carry this testimony and message beyond the written page and the weekly broadcast. I am open to coming alongside churches, recovery ministries, men’s gatherings, prison outreach settings, Kingdom training environments, and leadership gatherings where the heart is not entertainment, but transformation. My desire is not to fill a calendar, but to carry the witness of what Jesus has done into rooms where people need to know that addiction is not stronger than the Blood, shame is not stronger than sonship, and hidden bondage is not greater than the finished work of the cross.

This is a return to the heart of the call. I am asking the Lord to open the right doors, connect this testimony with the right rooms, and send the message wherever captives are ready to hear the sound of freedom. If this testimony can become a bridge for one person to encounter Jesus in the middle of addiction, shame, hidden bondage, or religious exhaustion, then every mile of the journey becomes another reason to give Him glory.

Hell may remember who you were, but Heaven declares who you are in Christ. The enemy may try to accuse, distort, and replay the past, but he cannot erase the testimony that has been washed in the Blood of the Lamb. This is the testimony hell cannot erase, and I believe there are captives waiting to hear it so they can discover that Jesus still walks into prisons and calls sons and daughters out by name.

RELIGION HAS WOUNDED THE BRIDE — BUT CHRIST IS SETTING HER FREE

What much of the Church in America has slipped into would scarcely be recognized by the Apostles.

I have been told that I speak against the Church too much, and to an undiscerning eye, perhaps that may appear true. But a discerning eye understands that I am not speaking against the Bride of Christ. I am speaking against that which has taken portions of the Bride hostage.

Religion is one of the stealth weapons of Hell. It has destroyed congregations, wounded believers, derailed destinies, and hardened hearts against the very truth it claims to defend. Religion boasts of obedience while attacking those whose only crime is being obedient to Christ. It exalts systems, traditions, titles, structures, and expectations above the living voice of the King, then condemns those who refuse to bow.

And religion is sly. It has woven its way into nearly every major move of God since Martin Luther nailed the Ninety-Five Theses to the church door at Wittenberg. It found its way into the Protestant Reformation, the Latter Rain movement, the Faith movement, the Healing movement, the Charismatic movement, the Fathering movement, and now even into portions of the Apostolic renewal. Again and again, what begins as a fresh move of Holy Spirit is gradually surrounded by the structures of men until the wineskin becomes more sacred than the wine.

Yet in every generation, the Lord has preserved a Remnant.

There remains an Ekklesia of sons and daughters who bow to Christ alone. Many of them have already been delivered from the chains of religion. They have been bruised by systems, misunderstood by leaders, rejected by institutions, and yet they still hunger for the presence of God. They do not desire another religious machine. They desire Jesus. They desire truth. They desire the presence of the Father. They desire the freedom of Holy Spirit and the life of the Kingdom.

And as Heaven turns up the heat, structures that carry the Name of Christ in title while denying His nature in practice will increasingly be exposed. What has been hidden behind polished platforms, religious language, titles, traditions, and institutional loyalty will not remain hidden forever.

While those structures are being shaken, the true Ekklesia is already at work.

She is reaching for the tired, the bruised, the betrayed, the disappointed, and the spiritually homeless. She is calling sons and daughters out of bondage and back into relationship. She is reminding them that their destiny was never to become servants of religion, but sons and daughters of the living God who walk with Christ and live from the presence of their Father in the heavenly realms.

The Lord is not abandoning His Church.

He is delivering her.

Grace Doesn’t Lower the Standard—It Changes the Heart

Why Biblical Grace Is Neither Legalism Nor a License to Conform to the World

The Church must recover the courage to preach grace without weakening holiness, and holiness without drifting into legalism. Legalism says, “Clean yourself up so God will accept you.” The Gospel says, “In Christ you have been accepted, forgiven, washed, and made new—now live like someone who belongs to Him.” Scripture leaves no room for self-righteous condemnation, but it also leaves no room for using grace as permission to keep embracing the patterns of the fallen world.

Paul asked the question plainly: “Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid” (Romans 6:1–2). Grace does not excuse the old nature; grace breaks its dominion. Titus 2:11–12 tells us that the grace of God teaches us to deny ungodliness and worldly lusts and to live soberly, righteously, and godly in this present age. Biblical grace does not merely forgive where we have been—it trains us to live differently because we now belong to Christ.

When Consecrated Believers Changed Cities, Regions, and Nations

Throughout the history of the Church, God has repeatedly demonstrated that He does not require a majority in order to transform a territory. Again and again, when culture was deteriorating, religious systems had grown cold, or nations were drifting farther from righteousness, the Lord raised up a consecrated people who refused to accept darkness as inevitable. They prayed, preached, discipled, confronted injustice, served their communities, and carried the presence of God beyond the walls of their gatherings.

The lesson of Tours for the Ecclesia is not that Christians must pick up earthly weapons against their Muslim neighbors. Our weapons are not carnal. The lesson is that there are moments in history when a people must recognize what is advancing toward them, understand what they believe, and refuse to surrender the ground entrusted to them.
