“RELIGION IS LOSING CONTROL.”
There is a shift taking place in the Church, and it is far greater than a change of style, structure, or generation. Holy Spirit is asserting His rightful authority over systems that religion has spent generations constructing, and Heaven is resetting the governing order of the Ekklesia back upon the foundation Christ Himself established.

There is a question the Church must be willing to ask: Have we become so busy building our ministries that we have neglected the command of Christ to disciple the nations?
Jesus never commissioned us to build personal platforms, protect religious institutions, or measure success by attendance, followers, buildings, budgets, or recognition. He said, “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations” (Matthew 28:19). He taught us to pray, “Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven” (Matthew 6:10).

There is a shifting taking place in the spiritual landscape, and I believe part of that shifting is a work of Holy Spirit within His own Church. This is not a call to reject leadership, despise authority, or tear down those whom God has genuinely called. Scripture leaves no room for such a conclusion. Christ gave apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers for the equipping of the saints and the building up of the Body according to Ephesians 4:11–13. Paul instructed elders to lead faithfully, Timothy was entrusted with significant responsibility, and Titus was commissioned to establish order among the churches. Biblical authority is real, necessary, and worthy of honor.
The issue is something far more subtle. The danger begins when authority ceases to function as service and begins functioning as status; when an apostolic gift becomes an apostolic class; when honor becomes hierarchy; and when attention that belongs to Christ begins gathering around personalities. That distinction is critical because religion seldom enters a movement by openly denying Jesus. More often, it enters by slowly changing what surrounds Him. Christ remains in the vocabulary while human importance grows in the structure. His name remains on the banner while personalities increasingly occupy the center of the room.

Throughout the history of the Church, God has repeatedly demonstrated that He does not require a majority in order to transform a territory. Again and again, when culture was deteriorating, religious systems had grown cold, or nations were drifting farther from righteousness, the Lord raised up a consecrated people who refused to accept darkness as inevitable. They prayed, preached, discipled, confronted injustice, served their communities, and carried the presence of God beyond the walls of their gatherings.

The lesson of Tours for the Ecclesia is not that Christians must pick up earthly weapons against their Muslim neighbors. Our weapons are not carnal. The lesson is that there are moments in history when a people must recognize what is advancing toward them, understand what they believe, and refuse to surrender the ground entrusted to them.

JESUS NEVER SAID, ‘GO BUILD CHURCHES’— STOP BUILDING MONUMENTS—START MAKING DISCIPLES
Millions—if not billions—of dollars will be spent building church buildings, ministry centers, campuses, monuments, and religious institutions, while America remains spiritually starving for the Word of God—not merely preached in truth, but demonstrated through lives transformed by the power of Jesus Christ.
The final command of Jesus was never, “Go build buildings.” He commanded His followers to go into the world, preach the Gospel of the Kingdom, make disciples, heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, cast out demons, and demonstrate that the Kingdom of Heaven had come near. The mission was people—not property. The mandate was disciples—not monuments. The evidence was transformed lives, supernatural power, sacrificial love, and obedience to the King.
For nearly three centuries, the Gospel of the Kingdom spread like wildfire without massive cathedrals, multimillion-dollar campuses, celebrity platforms, or religious corporations. Believers carried the presence of God from house to house, city to city, and nation to nation. They turned the world upside down because the Ecclesia was a living people under the Lordship of Jesus Christ—not an institution confined to a building.
Then something shifted. What began as a living, Spirit-led movement increasingly became entangled in religious structures, traditions, rituals, political power, and systems created by men. The Ecclesia that was born to advance the Kingdom became increasingly imprisoned behind walls—both physical and spiritual.
Perhaps the great reformation before us is not about building bigger churches, but recovering the Ecclesia Jesus actually established: a people filled with Holy Spirit, walking in holiness, making disciples, healing the broken, confronting darkness, serving the poor, preaching the Kingdom, and carrying the presence of God beyond the walls.
Some of the greatest movements of God in history did not begin inside impressive buildings—they erupted in fields, on farms, in open-air gatherings, on street corners, and in places society had written off. The Ecclesia was never designed to retreat from contested ground; it was called to occupy it with the presence, truth, compassion, and power of the Kingdom.
Brother David Wilkerson often emphasized that church was not merely what happened when thousands gathered inside a sanctuary—it truly came alive when the doors opened and believers carried the Gospel into the streets. The Ecclesia must function wherever darkness has taken territory, because those are the very places the Kingdom of God was sent to invade.
And what would happen if the Ecclesia rediscovered what Jesus actually established?
We would see believers leave the safety of religious routine and begin carrying the Kingdom into neighborhoods, workplaces, schools, streets, hospitals, government, and every place darkness has claimed territory. Disciples would make disciples. The broken would be restored. The sick would be prayed for. The oppressed would encounter freedom. The poor would be served. Truth would confront compromise, and the presence of God would no longer be confined to a Sunday gathering. We would not simply see larger churches—we would see cities transformed. That is what happens when the Ecclesia becomes the Ecclesia again.
The world does not need another monument to Christianity.
It needs to encounter Christ through His people.
We must become the altar where the fire falls again.

For some time now, the Lord has had me watching Europe closely. Not merely watching political movements, elections, immigration debates, cultural unrest, or the visible shaking taking place across the continent, but watching beneath the surface for what Holy Spirit is doing in a land that once carried some of the deepest revival fires the modern Church has ever known. Europe is not spiritually insignificant ground. Its soil has been watered by the tears of intercessors, stained by the blood of martyrs, shaken by reformers, and saturated by generations of men and women who carried the burden of the cross with such holy intensity that entire communities were brought under conviction.
There were seasons when the presence of God rested so heavily upon certain regions that preaching did not need entertainment, production, branding, or manipulation. Men entered villages carrying the fear of the Lord, and before a sermon was finished, people were weeping, groaning, confessing sin, and crying out for mercy. In portions of Wales, Scotland, Ireland, England, the Hebrides, and across continental Europe, the Gospel did not arrive as religious information; it came as holy invasion. The weight of God fell upon communities until pubs emptied, families reconciled, prayer meetings filled buildings, and hardened hearts broke beneath the revelation of Christ.
Yet Europe has also experienced generations of spiritual decline. Churches that once trembled beneath the weight of glory became monuments to what God had done yesterday. Cathedrals remained while conviction disappeared. Christianity became cultural memory rather than living fire, and secularism advanced into places where revival once burned brightly. Many looked upon Europe and concluded that the continent had moved beyond revival, that the ancient wells were dry, and that Christianity would continue fading into the background of history.
But I do not believe Heaven is finished with Europe.
As I have watched and prayed, something has begun stirring in my spirit with increasing strength. I am beginning to witness what I can only describe as ancient wells being uncapped. The waters have not yet become the great river I believe is coming, but there are signs of movement beneath the ground. Hunger is appearing where religious indifference once dominated. Prayer is beginning to rise in unexpected places. Young people are asking questions the previous generation stopped asking. Believers who have grown weary of dead institutional religion are beginning to search again for the presence, holiness, power, and reality of God.
This is not simply another revival season as we have traditionally understood revival. I believe Holy Spirit is orchestrating something deeper: a reformation that will confront structures, traditions, compromise, and systems that have carried the name of Christianity while losing the life of Christ. Revival awakens hearts, but reformation changes structures. Revival brings people to the altar, but reformation sends transformed people into families, cities, governments, education, business, culture, and nations carrying the Kingdom of God.
The Lord is not interested in merely restoring Europe to what it once was. He is preparing to reshape what Christianity looks like across the continent.
There are wells beneath European soil that have never disappeared. They were covered, neglected, forgotten, and in some places deliberately buried beneath generations of unbelief, institutionalism, humanism, and religious compromise, but they were never destroyed. Heaven remembers every prayer prayed in secret rooms. Heaven remembers every missionary sent from those shores. Heaven remembers every martyr who refused to deny Christ. Heaven remembers every revivalist who carried the Gospel from village to village and every grandmother who prayed for generations she would never live to see.
Those prayers have not expired.
We must understand something about wells. When Isaac reopened the wells his father Abraham had dug, he was not creating a new source of water. He was uncovering something that had already been deposited beneath the ground. Genesis 26 tells us that the Philistines had stopped those wells and filled them with earth, but the water remained beneath the obstruction. Isaac simply removed what had been placed over what was already there.
I believe that is prophetic for Europe.
Religious tradition has covered some wells. Secularism has covered others. Political ideology has covered others. Intellectual pride, compromise, fear of man, and cultural Christianity have buried still more. Yet beneath the debris remains a spiritual inheritance purchased through prayer, sacrifice, persecution, and obedience.
Holy Spirit knows where every well is.
There is a generation arising across Europe that will not be satisfied with visiting the monuments of past revival. They will not be content to tour the buildings where God once moved while accepting spiritual barrenness in their own generation. Something inside them will begin asking, “If God moved here once, why not again?” That question will become dangerous to religious complacency because once hunger awakens, yesterday’s stories become invitations rather than memorials.
I believe Ireland will carry fire again. Scotland will hear the sound of travail again. Wales will experience the groan of intercession again. England will see voices rise who refuse to apologize for the Gospel. Across parts of continental Europe, believers who have felt isolated and scattered will suddenly discover they were never alone. Holy Spirit has been preserving remnants throughout these nations, hidden in homes, small churches, prayer gatherings, ministries, and ordinary families who have refused to surrender the faith handed down to them.
What appears scattered will begin connecting.
What appears weak will begin strengthening.
What appears buried will begin breaking through the ground.
The coming European awakening will not look exactly like the movements of previous centuries because God does not duplicate history; He builds upon it. The old wells will provide water, but the river will flow into a generation facing challenges previous revivalists could never have imagined. This generation will need more than emotional meetings. They will need deep discipleship, biblical literacy, spiritual discernment, courage, holiness, and an understanding of the Kingdom of God strong enough to withstand the ideological storms confronting Europe.
This is why I believe reformation must accompany revival. If Europe simply experiences another wave of emotional Christianity without structural transformation, the next generation could lose what was gained. But if revival awakens hearts and reformation rebuilds foundations, Europe could once again become one of the great sending grounds of Christianity to the nations.
Do not misunderstand what I am saying. I am not declaring that Europe will suddenly become some religious empire, nor am I placing hope in political Christianity or institutional power. The Kingdom of God has never depended upon governments recognizing it. What I am seeing is something far more powerful: ordinary believers awakening to the reality of Christ within them and carrying His presence into every sphere of society.
The true strength of Christianity has never been found in possessing political dominance. It has been found in men and women so surrendered to Jesus that darkness could not intimidate them.
As I have continued watching and praying over Europe, Holy Spirit has been whispering something to me with increasing clarity: Pay close attention, for what you are witnessing there is a foreshadow of what I am about to do in this nation. Before the fruit can appear again, the tree must be resurrected; before the harvest can come, the roots must be awakened. Much of the spiritual seed that helped shape America was carried across the Atlantic by men and women formed in the fires of European reformation, revival, prayer, and persecution. I sense the Lord saying that He is breathing again upon those ancient roots, because He intends to awaken the tree from which so much of this nation’s spiritual inheritance was first planted. What begins as renewal across Europe may become a prophetic signal that the winds of awakening are preparing to cross the waters once again.
That is what Europe needs again.
A Church that carries more than vocabulary.
A people who carry presence.
Disciples who know Christ deeply enough that their lives become evidence of another Kingdom.
The Europe that produced reformers, revivalists, missionaries, martyrs, intercessors, and evangelists has not disappeared from the purposes of God. There is still inheritance beneath that soil. There are still prophetic promises hanging over those nations. There are still prayers waiting for a generation willing to say yes.
The wells are beginning to open.
The water is beginning to move.
And when the underground streams of prayer, hunger, holiness, and revelation begin connecting, what presently looks like scattered renewal may suddenly become something much larger.
I believe we may be standing at the beginning of a spiritual reshaping of Europe. Not a return to yesterday, but the birth of something carrying the DNA of the ancient wells and the assignment of a new generation. Holy Spirit is gathering hungry hearts, awakening remnants, exposing dead religion, and preparing voices who will carry the Gospel without apology.
Europe has known reformation before.
Europe has known revival before.
Europe has sent missionaries into the nations before.
And I believe Heaven is preparing to write another chapter.
The ancient wells are being uncapped, and the waters of renewal are beginning to flow.
We must become the altar where the fire falls again.

“Big Screens, Skinny Jeans and Smoke Machines”
“For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables.” — 2 Timothy 4:3
I went looking for the verse that explains what I keep seeing, and I found it.
Somewhere along the way, a strange qualification quietly attached itself to the pulpit. Nobody wrote it into a creed. Nobody voted on it in a denominational meeting.
But walk through the marketing of half the “prophetic voices” and “apostolic leaders” filling your timeline and you’ll find the unwritten job description: sleeve tattoos on both arms, a designer beard maintained better than most people’s marriages, a wardrobe that costs more than a month of rent for half the congregation funding it. Charisma on camera. A logo. A brand.
Somewhere, we stopped asking whether a man walks in the fear of the Lord and started asking whether he looks like he could headline a festival.
“I was in a meeting when brother Mario Murillo asked a piercing question: ‘When did the church become lukewarm? Maybe when we replaced the Holy Spirit with big screens, skinny jeans, and fog machines.’ The problem isn’t a screen, a pair of jeans, or a fog machine. The problem begins when production becomes the substitute for Presence, personality replaces anointing, and the platform becomes more important than the altar.”
Paul gave Timothy and Titus the actual job description for anyone who wants to stand in front of God’s people. It has nothing to do with aesthetics.
An overseer must be blameless, not self-willed, not soon angry, not given to wine, no striker, not greedy of filthy lucre — but a lover of hospitality, a lover of good men, sober, just, holy, temperate (Titus 1:7-8).
He must be one that ruleth well his own house, not a novice, and have a good report of them which are without (1 Timothy 3:4-7). Peter told the elders to feed the flock of God, taking the oversight thereof, not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind; neither as being lords over God’s heritage (1 Peter 5:2-3).
Read those lists as many times as you want. You will not find “must have a compelling personal brand.” You will not find “must dress like he’s about to drop an album.” You will find character. You will find the fear of the Lord. You will find a warning, repeated twice in two different letters to two different men, about money.
That repetition is not an accident. God knew exactly what would try to hijack the pulpit two thousand years later.
There is a difference between a ministry that builds the Kingdom of God and a ministry that builds a personal empire wearing Kingdom language as a costume.
You can tell the difference by where the money goes. A house of God that pours its resources into reaching the lost, discipling the broken, and caring for the widow and the orphan is building a Kingdom.
A house that pours millions into a private jet, a mansion compound, and a wardrobe budget while quietly building a media empire and a family dynasty to inherit it — that is not a ministry anymore. That is a business with a worship set.
Jesus walked into the temple and turned over the tables of the men who had figured out how to monetize access to God. He did not do it quietly. He did not do it politely. My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves (Matthew 21:13). If He was willing to flip tables over doves being sold in the outer court, what does He think about a nine-figure media empire built on offerings collected in His name?
Paul asked the Corinthians a question the American Church needs to sit with: we are not as many, which corrupt the word of God: but as of sincerity (2 Corinthians 2:17). The word there for “corrupt” was used for shopkeepers who watered down their wine to increase their profit margin. Paul saw it coming. Peddlers of the gospel, diluting the truth to move more product.
Micah saw it too, centuries earlier: The heads thereof judge for reward, and the priests thereof teach for hire… yet will they lean upon the Lord, and say, Is not the Lord among us? none evil can come upon us (Micah 3:11). Notice that — they still used God’s name. They still claimed His presence. They just taught for hire while doing it.
None of this could happen without willing customers. Paul didn’t just warn Timothy about corrupt teachers — he warned him about a congregation that would demand them.
They will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers (2 Timothy 4:3).
Read that carefully. The people heap up the teachers. They go looking for a voice that will scratch the itch of what they already wanted to hear, and they will keep hiring and firing preachers until they find one who never makes them uncomfortable.
An itching-ears culture doesn’t want a shepherd who will correct it.
It wants a celebrity who will affirm it, entertain it, and look good doing it. So the marketplace responded exactly the way marketplaces do. It manufactured the product being demanded — polished, tattooed, designer-dressed, and camera-ready — because a congregation with itching ears will fund the platform every single time.
This is not a story about a few bad men. It is a transaction. And it will not stop until the people stop demanding the product.
Paul reminded the Ephesian elders of his own example: I have coveted no man’s silver, or gold, or apparel… I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak (Acts 20:33-35).
He worked with his hands so the gospel would cost the church nothing extra. He was not chasing a brand. He was making sure the message never got confused with a hustle.
Jeremiah confronted the shepherds who scattered the flock instead of feeding it, and God said plainly: I will visit upon you the evil of your doings (Jeremiah 23:2).
Ezekiel said it even sharper — shepherds who feed themselves, clothe themselves with the wool, and let the sheep go hungry and scattered while calling it ministry (Ezekiel 34:2-4).
And Paul, writing to Timothy about the very spirit driving all of this, was blunt: the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows (1 Timothy 6:10). Not a warning about wealth existing. A warning about what happens to a man’s soul when the love of it gets into the pulpit.
This is not a call to despise every preacher with a tattoo or a nice suit. Character was never measured by ink or by a closet. That was never the point, and turning it into a legalistic checklist would just be a different flavor of missing the mark.
The point is this: somewhere, the qualification for standing in the pulpit quietly shifted from the fear of the Lord to the size of a platform. Somewhere, a congregation started confusing a brand with an anointing. Somewhere, “does he look like he could carry the room” replaced “does he tremble at the Word of the Lord.”
Paul told Timothy the itching-ears season was coming. He didn’t tell him to be surprised by it. He told him what to do instead: preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine (2 Timothy 4:2).
Stay faithful to the Word, even when — especially when — it stops being what people want to hear.
The Church does not need more celebrities. It needs shepherds who love the sheep more than they love the brand.
We must become the altar where the fire falls again.

Much of the modern Church remains asleep beneath a thick veil of compromise and complacency. We have become comfortable with religious activity while neglecting the authority, responsibility, and assignment Christ entrusted to His Ekklesia. The Lord was clear that His people were not called merely to gather, sing, preach, and maintain institutions. His Ekklesia was called to represent the government of Heaven, stand against darkness, and exercise spiritual authority in the earth.
Yet across much of the American Church, a watered-down and commercialized structure has replaced the fire of obedience. Entertainment has replaced consecration. Celebrity has replaced servanthood. The desire to please people has too often silenced the mandate to speak truth. While the Church has been distracted with platforms, programs, and personal kingdoms, destructive ideologies such as socialism, communism, and Marxism have continued to gain influence within our culture and institutions.
This is not the hour for passive Christianity. Heaven is calling forth the Remnant Ekklesia to awaken, return to the secret place, and take its position in prayer. The sons and daughters of God must begin to pray with the authority of their sonship, proclaim the Word of the Lord, and contend for righteousness in their communities, cities, states, and nation. We are not called to fight people, but we are called to confront spiritual darkness, expose deception, and dismantle every ideology that exalts itself against the knowledge and purposes of God.
The battle will not be won through religious performance, political outrage, or empty declarations. It will be won by a consecrated people who know the heart of the Father, understand their authority in Christ, and are willing to obey Holy Spirit regardless of the personal cost. The Remnant must enter the prayer room, stand upon the Word, and legislate in the spirit through intercession, repentance, righteous proclamation, and faithful action.
To those who lead religious institutions while being more concerned with pleasing people, protecting influence, and maintaining celebrity status than obeying the Lord: Scripture itself holds every shepherd accountable. The pulpit is not a stage, the Church is not a business empire, and the people of God are not an audience to be managed. Leaders are called to feed the flock, guard the truth, confront deception, and prepare the saints for the work of the Kingdom.
A shaking is coming that will expose what has been built by the Spirit of God and what has been built by human ambition. False foundations will not endure. Manufactured ministries, compromised leadership, and fraudulent representations of the House of God will be revealed for what they are.
But this shaking is also an invitation.
The Lord is awakening His Remnant. He is calling the watchmen back to the wall, the intercessors back to the prayer room, and the Ekklesia back to its rightful place of spiritual authority. This is the hour to arise, repent, pray, and stand. The Church must awaken from its sleep and become once again a living witness of the Kingdom of God in the earth.
The war is real.
The hour is serious.
But the Remnant is awakening.

There is a battle taking place for the attention, emotions, and spiritual focus of the people of God. Every day, believers are confronted with headlines, social-media posts, political arguments, cultural outrage, fear-driven commentary, and emotionally charged voices demanding an immediate response. Much of what we encounter is designed to provoke anger, offense, confusion, anxiety, or division before we have taken the time to pray, discern, and hear from the Holy Spirit.
It is time for the Remnant to rise into a higher level of spiritual discernment. One of the enemy’s most effective strategies is to drag a spiritual battle down into the realm of the flesh. If he can provoke the sons and daughters of God into responding with uncontrolled emotion, personal hostility, careless words, or constant outrage, he can pull them away from the place of spiritual authority.
The enemy does not always need to silence the Church. Sometimes he simply needs to make the Church sound like the world.
I have learned through the years that not every battle deserves my immediate response. There have been moments when I felt compelled to answer quickly, defend a position, correct a false statement, or confront something that appeared deeply wrong. Yet when I paused and brought the matter before the Holy Spirit, I often discovered that my first reaction would have come from frustration rather than spiritual authority.
That pause can make all the difference. The enemy is not only interested in what we believe; he is also interested in controlling how we respond. If he can provoke us into speaking before we pray, reacting before we discern, or judging before we understand, then he has already succeeded in pulling the battle onto carnal ground.
The Remnant must stop allowing the enemy to determine the battlefield. We cannot dismantle spiritual darkness by adopting the language, methods, anger, and manipulation of the very system we are confronting. A fleshly response to a spiritual attack does not defeat the enemy; it often strengthens the atmosphere he is attempting to create.
The media, social media, political rhetoric, and endless stream of competing voices are saturated with triggers. Some are designed to create fear. Others are crafted to produce hostility, tribalism, panic, suspicion, or deep emotional exhaustion. Even when information contains an element of truth, it may still be presented in a way that manipulates the emotions and draws people into an atmosphere that is not of God.
A headline may be factually accurate and still be designed to inflame. A social-media post may expose a genuine concern while carrying an atmosphere of accusation, bitterness, or hatred. A public controversy may deserve attention, yet the enemy may use it to draw believers into endless arguments that produce no repentance, no healing, no wisdom, and no Kingdom fruit.
The mature sons and daughters of God must learn to recognize the spirit operating behind the message. We must ask whether what we are hearing is producing clarity or confusion, courage or fear, righteous conviction or uncontrolled outrage. We must discern whether our response will bring light into the darkness or simply add another angry voice to the noise.
Spiritual maturity is revealed not only by what we recognize, but by how we respond.
Romans 8:14 declares, “For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.” This verse is not merely a comforting statement about identity; it reveals the governmental order of the Kingdom. The mature sons and daughters of God are those who are learning to live under the leadership, influence, and authority of the Holy Spirit.
To be led by the Spirit means that our emotions do not govern us. Our anger does not dictate our speech. Our fear does not determine our actions. The pressure of culture, the volume of the crowd, and the urgency of the latest headline do not possess the right to lead us.
This does not mean that Spirit-led believers remain silent in the face of deception, injustice, corruption, or evil. It means we speak from the right spirit. There is a difference between righteous conviction and personal hostility, between prophetic clarity and uncontrolled outrage, and between confronting darkness and becoming consumed by it.
The Remnant must surrender every part of life to the governmental authority of the Holy Spirit. Our words, judgments, social-media activity, conversations, prayers, and public witness must come under His direction. We cannot claim to be governed by Heaven while continually reacting from the flesh.
Second Corinthians 10:4 declares, “For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds.” Paul was making it clear that spiritual strongholds cannot be defeated through fleshly methods. Human anger, accusations, insults, mockery, emotional outbursts, and endless arguments do not possess the power to dismantle demonic systems.
Our weapons are prayer, truth, righteousness, obedience, faith, love, the Word of God, and Spirit-led decrees that agree with Heaven. These are not weak or passive responses. Prayer is not inactivity. Biblical decrees are not empty religious language. The Word of God spoken under the direction of the Holy Spirit carries far more authority than a thousand fleshly reactions.
The mature believer must learn when to speak publicly, when to intercede privately, when to confront directly, and when to remain silent until the Holy Spirit gives instruction. Not every argument deserves our voice. Not every headline deserves our emotion. Not every controversy deserves our participation.
Some battles are won in public proclamation, but many are dismantled in the secret place.
Our nation is under tremendous pressure. We are witnessing attacks against truth, family, identity, innocence, justice, order, faith, and the biblical principles that once helped shape the conscience of this nation. Division has become profitable, outrage has become entertainment, and fear has become a weapon used to influence entire populations.
The enemy understands that if America can be divided, weakened, and led into self-destruction, the consequences will extend far beyond our borders. The fall of a nation with America’s global influence would create tremors throughout the world, affecting economies, alliances, defense, humanitarian efforts, religious liberty, and the stability of other nations.
This does not mean that America is more valuable to God than any other nation. God created every people, tribe, language, and nation, and His redemptive purpose reaches throughout the entire earth. Yet America has carried a significant historic responsibility.
At its best, America has been a beacon of hope to the oppressed, a refuge for the persecuted, a defender of liberty, and a force against those who seek to inflict harm upon the innocent. America has not always lived up to that calling, and we must acknowledge its failures honestly. Yet failure does not erase purpose.
The answer is not blind nationalism, political idolatry, or placing our hope in human leaders. The answer is national humility, repentance, justice, truth, and renewed dependence upon the Lord Most High.
America possesses one of the most powerful military forces in the world, but our ultimate safety does not come from weapons, technology, intelligence agencies, economic strength, or political influence. Psalm 20:7 declares, “Some trust in chariots, and some in horses; but we will remember the name of the Lord our God.”
In the ancient world, chariots and horses represented military power, national security, and human strength. The psalmist was reminding Israel that armies may be necessary, but they must never become the object of a nation’s trust. Human strength cannot replace dependence upon God.
A nation may possess the strongest military in the world and still lose its moral foundation. It may have global influence and still collapse from corruption, pride, hatred, division, spiritual blindness, and internal decay. History is filled with powerful empires that appeared secure until their foundations failed beneath them.
Our help comes from the Lord. Our protection comes from Jehovah Elyon, the Most High God. Our future depends upon whether we humble ourselves, seek His face, turn from wickedness, pursue justice, and return to the ancient paths of righteousness.
The enemy wants believers angry without discernment, informed without wisdom, passionate without restraint, and vocal without spiritual authority. He wants us continually offended, emotionally exhausted, and spiritually distracted. He wants us fighting one another while darkness advances almost unnoticed.
The Holy Spirit is calling us higher. He is raising sons and daughters who can hear the noise without becoming part of it. They will recognize manipulation without surrendering to paranoia, confront deception without abandoning love, and speak truth without allowing hatred to shape their words.
The Remnant must not become another angry movement. We are called to be a holy people governed by another Kingdom. Our distinction will not merely be the positions we hold, but the Spirit from which we speak, the character we display, and the authority we carry.
We must become disciplined in prayer, anchored in Scripture, sensitive to the Holy Spirit, and unwilling to surrender our peace to the chaos of the culture. We must learn to pause before reacting, pray before speaking, discern before judging, and seek the counsel of Heaven before entering any battle.
Before responding to the next headline, controversy, accusation, or emotionally charged post, stop and ask the Holy Spirit to search your heart. Are you responding from peace or agitation? Are you speaking from spiritual authority or personal frustration? Have you prayed before forming your conclusion? Will your response reveal Christ, or merely prove that you are angry?
The battle is real, and the hour is serious, but we must fight with the weapons of the Kingdom. This week, identify one area where the enemy has been repeatedly provoking you into fear, anger, or frustration. Bring that area before the Holy Spirit, surrender your emotions, search the Word, and refuse to react until you have received His direction.
Refuse to let the enemy choose the battlefield. Refuse to surrender your authority through carnal reactions. Refuse to become part of the noise you were called to confront.
Pray with discernment, speak with wisdom, stand in truth, walk in love, and remain governed by the Spirit.
The enemy wants to pull the Remnant into a carnal war, but the mature sons and daughters of God are awakening. We will not fight darkness with darkness. We will not confront hatred with hatred. We will not surrender our peace, our witness, or our spiritual authority.
The Remnant is rising, the Light is breaking through, and those who are led by the Spirit of God will stand steady in the days ahead.
The war is real.
The hour is serious.
But the Remnant is awakening.
