Peeling Back Tradition to Reveal Our True Calling

For centuries, the Church has served as a gathering place, a source of comfort, a beacon of hope. Yet, beneath layers of tradition and centuries of cultural adaptation, a profound and urgent identity waits to be rediscovered—the Ecclesia, Heaven’s original blueprint for God’s people on Earth. In this exploration, we journey back to the roots of the Church, seeking to understand its true nature as a governing body, intentionally designed to do far more than assemble: it exists to shift atmospheres, impact nations, and bring the reality of Heaven to earth.

Peeling Back Tradition: What is Ecclesia?

Ecclesia is a word that, for many, conjures images of solemn liturgies, stained glass windows, and pews lined with worshipers. But when Jesus spoke of the Ecclesia, He called forth something far greater—a dynamic assembly with authority, purpose, and a mandate to transform the world. The term “ecclesia” itself was borrowed from the political realm of ancient Greece and Rome, referring to a governmental assembly of citizens called out to legislate, deliberate, and make decisions that shaped their society.

The first-century followers of Jesus understood that He was not simply founding a new religion, but was restoring Heaven’s design for an empowered, Spirit-filled body that would steward authority on Earth. The Ecclesia was never meant to be passive; it is, by nature, outward-facing, called to influence culture, confront injustice, and steward the Kingdom of God.

God’s Blueprint: The Church as a Governing Body

Imagine the Church, not as a static sanctuary but as a vibrant council—an assembly of those called to rule and reign with Christ. This is God’s original design, one that is both daring and deeply rooted in His heart for humanity. The Ecclesia was intended to be Heaven’s governmental agency on earth, entrusted with the authority to bind and loose, to open and shut, and to wield the keys of the Kingdom.

When Jesus declared in Matthew 16:18–19, “I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not prevail against it,” He immediately followed with a promise of authority: “I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven.” These words were not symbolic; they were literal assignments to exercise spiritual authority, to enact change, and to carry the will of Heaven into every sphere of life. The Ecclesia was never meant to be silent; it was meant to govern, to declare, and to shift the spiritual terrain.

Centuries of Tradition: How Identity Became Obscured

As the centuries passed, the Church absorbed the customs and structures of surrounding cultures. What began as a revolutionary, world-shifting movement gradually became institutionalized. Clergy and laity divisions, hierarchical models, and elaborate rituals took precedence, often at the expense of the Ecclesia’s identity as Heaven’s governing body.

The result was a church that gathered faithfully but often relinquished its authority to influence society. The radical spirit that marked the earliest believers—the willingness to confront injustice, to heal the sick, to speak truth to power—was submerged beneath layers of tradition. The Church became known for what it did within its walls, rather than for its impact beyond them.

Yet, echoes of the original Ecclesia remain. Whenever believers gather to pray for governments, advocate for the vulnerable, or speak prophetically over nations, the ancient calling surfaces. There is a growing hunger to reclaim the Church’s true identity, to peel back the traditions that veil the Ecclesia’s authority, and to step into the fullness of our mandate.

Rediscovering: Why the Ecclesia Is Urgently Needed Today

The urgency to rediscover the Ecclesia is palpable in our current age. The world groans under the weight of division, injustice, and spiritual confusion, longing for communities that can discern Heaven’s will and release it on Earth. The time has come for the Church to move beyond comfort and into commission—to embrace the original blueprint and operate as a governing body, called and equipped to shift atmospheres and transform societies.

This is not a call to abandon gathering, worship, or fellowship, but to recognize that these are means to a much greater end. The Ecclesia brings Heaven’s solutions to earthly problems, standing in the gap for those who cannot speak for themselves, confronting darkness with light, and shaping culture through prayer, proclamation, and service.

Stepping Into Fullness: Remembering Who We Are

Before the Church can step into the fullness of its calling, it must remember who it truly is. This remembrance is not an intellectual exercise, but a spiritual awakening—a call to stand, to speak, and to govern with the authority entrusted to us. The Ecclesia is not defined by buildings, programs, or traditions, but by hearts yielded to Christ and hands ready to enact His will.

To rediscover the Ecclesia is to return to the radical roots of faith, to recapture the courage of the early believers, and to embody the Kingdom of God in tangible ways. It is to realize that every believer carries authority—not just to gather, but to govern. It is to embrace the reality that the Church is Heaven’s legislative assembly, called out to shift nations, heal lands, and bring the reality of Heaven to earth.

Practical Steps to Reclaiming the Ecclesia’s Identity

  • Study the Word: Dive into the Scriptures with fresh eyes, seeking out God’s original design for His people. Focus on passages that highlight authority, governance, and calling.
  • Pray with Authority: Move beyond requests to declarations, releasing Heaven’s will into your city, nation, and spheres of influence. Intercession shifts atmospheres.
  • Engage Culture: Step outside the four walls of the church and seek opportunities to bring Kingdom solutions to societal issues—poverty, injustice, division. The Ecclesia is called to shape culture.
  • Gather to Govern: When believers come together, let it be more than fellowship—let it be strategic, intentional, and focused on hearing God’s voice for the world.
  • Embrace Your Calling: Recognize and step into the authority you carry as part of the Ecclesia, knowing that Heaven backs your words, prayers, and actions.

Conclusion: The Church for Today—and Tomorrow

Rediscovering the Ecclesia isn’t just a nostalgic return to ancient history; it is a prophetic invitation for the Church today. In a world desperate for hope, truth, and transformation, Heaven’s design for the Church is more relevant than ever. The Ecclesia is called to rise—not merely as a gathering of the faithful, but as a governing body, empowered to shift atmospheres, change nations, and bring the reality of Heaven to earth.

There is a tremor in the spiritual realm—a holy unrest stirring across the landscape of the American Church. The divide between generations, especially between the yInstitutional Church and the ecclesia, is not a mere sociological trend. It is the result of decades of spiritual compromise, institutional misalignment, and a tragic departure from the guidance of Holy Spirit.

What we are witnessing today is not just a generational gap—it is a prophetic indictment against a system that has traded intimacy for influence, and traded the presence of God for the applause of men.

In recent conversations with Holy Spirit, I was taken back through the decades, invited to trace the spiritual fault lines that have led us here. In the 1960s and 70s, youth ministry began to shift. What was once rooted in deep Bible study and discipleship began to morph into entertainment-driven gatherings.

The Church, observing how the world seemed to captivate the attention of young people, attempted to mimic its methods—without discerning the spiritual consequences. In trying to “reach” the youth, the Church inadvertently built walls between them and the adults, creating separate spaces, separate cultures, and separate expectations.

Ministry was increasingly reserved for those deemed “mature,” while the youth were relegated to games, concerts, and shallow messages. The spiritual inheritance meant to be passed down was interrupted, and the generational synergy that should have marked the Body of Christ was fractured.

By the time the 1980s arrived, the Church had become increasingly dependent on marketing firms to design programs that could compete with secular culture. These companies, often devoid of spiritual discernment, began shaping the Church’s outreach strategies, branding, and even its identity. In the 1990s, the dependency deepened.

Churches began consulting these firms not only for programming, but for decisions about where to plant new congregations—choosing locations based on financial viability and demographic appeal rather than prophetic assignment or apostolic mandate. The wisdom of man had replaced the voice of the Spirit, and the Church began to resemble a corporation more than a consecrated community.

The early 2000s ushered in the era of multi-campus ministries, often built around the charisma of celebrity pastors. The Church became a franchise, and the pulpit became a platform for performance. Today, church marketing is a billion-dollar industry.

The metrics of success are no longer measured by transformation, repentance, or revival—but by attendance, revenue, and online engagement. The spiritual atmosphere has been traded for stage lighting. The altar has been replaced by analytics. And the presence of God has been substituted with production value.

In the midst of this shift, parents were led to believe that dropping their children off at church was sufficient to please the Father. They assumed that institutional involvement equated to spiritual formation. But the youth saw through the façade.

They discerned the superficiality. They recognized the disconnect between what was preached and what was lived. What they longed for was not a well-branded youth group, but a Holy Spirit-filled family. They craved authenticity, encounter, and legacy. And the Church, instead of repenting, doubled down—offering more entertainment, more programming, and more performance.

This pattern mirrors the ancient error in Eden. Adam and Eve chose the tree of knowledge over the tree of life. They opted to define good and evil by their own wisdom, rather than receiving divine instruction from the Throne. Likewise, the Church has chosen the wisdom of man over the guidance of Holy Spirit. It has built systems, strategies, and structures that are impressive to the world but invisible to Heaven.

Today, we are witnessing the rise of institutional churches that swallow up smaller houses—not to build the Kingdom, but to build empires. These mega-ministries claim Heaven’s endorsement based on growth, visibility, and financial success.

But Heaven does not measure by numbers—it measures by obedience, purity, and presence. The Father is not impressed by how much money a church can raise, but by how fully it depends on Him. And yet, millions of dollars are poured into maintaining the entertainment, keeping the performance fresh, and ensuring relevance to a culture that is spiritually bankrupt.

But Heaven has spoken.

In 2023, the Courts of Heaven issued a decree: Enough. The Father has had enough of the religious machine. He is exposing the spirit of religion that has hijacked His Church. He is shaking the systems, dismantling the idols, and recalibrating His house to walk in total dependence on His presence.

This is not a gentle nudge—it is a divine upheaval. The Spirit is confronting the counterfeit, calling out the compromise, and inviting the Remnant to rise.

This is the hour of divine reset. The Remnant must emerge—not with marketing strategies, but with prophetic fire. Not with celebrity pulpits, but with consecrated altars. Not with entertainment, but with encounter.

The youth are not waiting for a better show—they are crying out for a real God. And the Father is answering. He is raising up a generation that will not be impressed by lights and logos, but will be marked by glory and truth.

The Church must return to the tree of life. It must forsake the wisdom of man and embrace the guidance of Holy Spirit. It must become a house that draws Heaven’s attention—not because of its size, but because of its surrender. The shaking will continue. The recalibration has begun. And the Remnant will arise—not to entertain, but to legislate. Not to perform, but to prophesy. Not to build empires, but to establish the Kingdom.

Let every religious structure be exposed. Let every counterfeit be dismantled. Let every altar of performance be torn down. The Father is reclaiming His house. And the youth—those who were once sidelined—will be among the first to carry the fire.

This is the hour. This is the reckoning. This is the recalibration.

It’s not the woke ideologies, shifting cultural norms, or political chaos that pose the greatest threat to the Church—it is the ancient, insidious spirit of religion. Its tactics are subtle, its costume convincing, and its history long. From the blood-soaked soil beneath Abel’s sacrifice to the polished pulpits of today, this spirit has played the part of gatekeeper to God—yet all it does is keep the people from His presence.

Let’s be clear: this spirit doesn’t fear revival, it mimics it. It doesn’t stop worship, it redirects it toward traditions void of power. It doesn’t quench the prophetic, it sterilizes it—pressuring the prophets to conform, dilute, and apologize.

🚨 This spirit has infiltrated the modern Church, binding the saints with doctrines that sound holy but are hollow. Chief among them? The doctrine of escapism—the belief that the Church must survive until evacuation, rather than rise until enthronement. But that doctrine is a lie. Heaven has never commissioned a passive Bride. Scripture declares a Victorious Church: one that conquers, overcomes, and reigns. One that doesn’t wait for retreat but prepares for occupation—until the return of Christ, when He sets up His eternal throne among the redeemed on Earth.

⚔️ This War Is Ancient—but So Is Our Weaponry

The spirit of religion is not young. It has studied humanity for thousands of years—learning to twist truth, manipulate emotion, and institutionalize dead devotion. It stirs jealousy, crushes creativity, and prefers order over Spirit. It is the same spirit that rejected Christ, stoned the prophets, and persecuted the early Church. It whispers “God won’t move like that” while God breaks open the heavens with wonders.

But there is good news. The Remnant has not been left without power. Before this spirit ever slithered into the story, Holy Spirit hovered over the waters. He is older than deception, deeper than doctrine, and more powerful than any tradition. Within Him is eternal wisdom, supernatural strategies, and the kind of insight that exposes darkness before it even speaks.

🔑 Holy Spirit is our advantage. He reveals what religious spirits hide. He empowers what religious systems suppress. And through Him, the Remnant carries tools that dismantle strongholds: prophetic decrees, spiritual discernment, fervent intercession, and supernatural fire that religion cannot fake.

🚪 Let the Remnant Arise

This is the hour for liberation, not accommodation. The Remnant must rise—not in rebellion against church structures—but in full surrender to the King who refuses to be tamed by tradition. It’s time to confront deception, tear down strongholds, and liberate the saints from spiritual imprisonment.

Let every pulpit echo Heaven’s cry.

Let every believer be reawakened by truth.

Let every ministry be unshackled from religion and freshly baptized in Holy Spirit fire.

🕊️ To the Ecclesia: You Are Not Meekly Waiting—You Are Boldly Occupying

You were never called to survive until rescued. You were commissioned to govern until revealed. Christ is not returning for a Church stuck in fear—He’s coming for a Bride clothed in righteousness, roaring in authority, and triumphant in warfare.

This is your call, Remnant. Arise. Occupy. Confront. Liberate.

Expose religion. Embody freedom. Execute the will of Heaven.

The gates of hell will not prevail—not against the true Ecclesia, not against the prophetic Bride, and certainly not against those armed by the Spirit of God.

🌍 To the Stirred and Awakened: Find Your Tribe

If this message awakens something deep within you, it’s not just conviction—it’s commissioning. You’re not alone. The Remnant is rising all across the earth—bold believers marked by fire, holiness, and Heaven’s DNA. Apostolic voices, prophetic reformers, intercessory warriors—diverse in expression, united in mission.

Now is the time to seek them out. Find your Remnant Tribe. Link arms with those who refuse to bow to religion or retreat into silence. Strengthen one another. Build together. War together. Advance together.

Because revival is not a solo journey—it’s a Remnant revolution.

A Cry to Return: Reclaiming the Discipleship Model of Jesus

There is a groan rising from the heart of the Father—a cry echoing through the corridors of time, calling His Church back to the way of the Master. It is not a call to innovation, but to restoration. Not to strategy, but to surrender. Not to programs, but to people.

Jesus didn’t disciple from a pulpit. He discipled from a place of proximity. He didn’t build a brand—He built a brotherhood. He didn’t create consumers—He raised up carriers of the Kingdom. And He did it face to face.

From the twelve He called, He drew four into deeper intimacy—Peter, James, John, and Andrew. With them, He walked, wept, corrected, and commissioned. He poured into them everything the Father had poured into Him. And in turn, they poured into the others. This was not a hierarchy of control—it was a holy rhythm of impartation. It was the divine pattern: from the Father to the Son, from the Son to the disciple, and from the disciple to the world.

This model—relational, intentional, and incarnational—was the foundation of the early Church. For nearly four centuries after Pentecost, this was how the Gospel advanced. Not through cathedrals, but through kitchens. Not through institutions, but through intimacy. Disciples made disciples, and the world was turned upside down.

But then came Rome—and the fire became a form.
Then came Greece—and the mystery became a philosophy.
Then came America—and the mission became a marketplace.

What was once a movement became a monument.
What was once a family became a franchise.
What was once a fire became a formula.

Today, many churches have traded the model of Christ for the methods of culture. Discipleship has been outsourced to programs, seminars, and branded curriculums. Pastors are treated like CEOs. Congregants are treated like customers. And the goal is no longer transformation—it’s retention.

We have built systems that are efficient but not eternal. We have created structures that are scalable but not spiritual. We have trained people to follow a church, a doctrine, a personality—but not a Person. We have made disciples of denominations, not disciples of Jesus.

And the fruit is evident.

We have churches full of attenders but empty of disciples.
We have leaders who are celebrated but not consecrated.
We have believers who know the language of faith but not the life of it.

But Heaven is not silent. The Spirit is not still.
The winds of reformation are blowing again.

The Holy Spirit is re-forming the Church—not around platforms, but around people. Not around programs, but around presence. He is calling us back to the table. Back to the fire. Back to the face-to-face.

This is not a nostalgic longing for the past. It is a prophetic summons for the future. The Church of tomorrow must be built on the foundation of Christ’s model—not man’s machinery. We must return to the way of the Master.

Jesus didn’t say, “Go and build churches.”
He said, “Go and make disciples.”
And He showed us how.

He walked with them.
He lived among them.
He taught them in the streets, in the fields, in the storms.
He corrected them in love.
He empowered them with truth.
And then He sent them with fire.

This is the model we must reclaim.
This is the fire we must rekindle.
This is the blueprint we must rebuild.

Religion builds hierarchy. It demands allegiance to a system. It creates disciples of doctrine, not disciples of Jesus. It elevates the pulpit and forgets the person. It teaches people to worship pastors and defend denominations, rather than to walk with the Lord of all creation.

But the Kingdom is different.
The Kingdom is relational.
The Kingdom is incarnational.
The Kingdom is built on love, not leverage.

So I plead with you, Church—return.
Return to the face-to-face.
Return to the fire.
Return to the way of the Master.

Let us raise up a generation who walk as Jesus walked.
Who disciple as Jesus discipled.
Who love as Jesus loved.

Let us build not with bricks, but with lives.
Not with programs, but with presence.
Not with systems, but with sons and daughters.

Let the Remnant decree:

We, the sons and daughters of the Most High God, stand in the authority of the blood of Jesus,
clothed in righteousness, armed with truth, and awakened by the Spirit of the Living God.

We decree this day:

That the Church shall return to the model of the Master—to the face-to-face, life-on-life, Spirit-led discipleship that Jesus Himself walked in and imparted.

We renounce the counterfeit systems of religion—discipleship built on programs, platforms, and personalities. We break agreement with the spirit of hierarchy, control, and celebrity. We cast down every model that exalts itself above the knowledge of Christ.

We declare:
The days of shallow Christianity are over.
The days of spectatorship are over.
The days of man-made disciples are over.

We call forth a reformation of discipleship—rooted in relationship, fueled by the fire of the Holy Spirit, and patterned after the life of Jesus.

We decree that the Remnant shall rise—
not as passive believers, but as burning ones.
Not as churchgoers, but as Kingdom carriers.
Not as consumers, but as commissioned sons and daughters.

We declare that the war is raging—and the time for preparation is now. We will not send untrained soldiers into battle. We will not raise orphans when Heaven has called us to raise heirs.

We prophesy:
That the wilderness shall become a training ground.
That the secret place shall become the strategy room.
That the table of fellowship shall become the altar of transformation.

We call the Church back to the fire.
Back to the feet of Jesus.
Back to the way of the cross.
Back to the face-to-face.

We decree that every disciple raised in this hour shall walk in the authority of Christ, carry the compassion of Christ, and manifest the character of Christ.

We declare that creation is groaning—not for more sermons, but for sons. Not for more buildings, but for builders. Not for more religion, but for revelation.

And we say:
Let the sons and daughters of Yahweh arise!
Let them be trained, tried, and transformed!
Let them be sent into the harvest fields with fire in their bones
and the Word of the Lord in their mouths!

We decree:
That the Church shall no longer make disciples of denominations, but disciples of the King. That we shall no longer raise up followers of men, but followers of the Lamb.

This is the hour.
This is the call.
This is the decree.

🔥 Return to Christ-like discipleship.
🔥 Prepare the Remnant for war.
🔥 Let the sons and daughters arise.

In the name of Yeshua, the Captain of the Lord’s Host, we seal this decree.

Amen and amen.

The time is now.
The call is clear.
The model is Christ.

Let us return.

Smiling Assassins & Counterfeit Covenants: A Warning to the Watchmen

We are not just in another season—we’re in a spiritual epoch. A threshold moment where destinies are being either activated or aborted based on the alliances we allow. The warfare is no longer general—it’s surgical. The enemy isn’t throwing random attacks; he’s mapping out your relationships, stalking your alignments, and seeking access to your call through open doors of unchecked connection.

In this critical hour, the Lord has whispered a solemn charge to me: “Let Me govern your alignments.”

This isn’t about becoming skeptical. It’s about becoming sanctified in how we align. The Holy Spirit is sounding an alarm across the Body: “Stop entertaining every handshake. Stop validating every olive branch.” Because not every invitation is from Heaven. Some are beautifully packaged assignments from hell.

I’ve seen firsthand how, when one demonic alignment is severed, the enemy will often send a carefully crafted replacement. A subtle infiltration. These substitutes don’t come how you’d expect—they come wrapped in familiarity, affirmation, and spiritual language. They quote the Word. They mention Jesus. They speak of unity and healing. But they carry the residue of what you were just delivered from.

He revealed to me that some of these connections—though outwardly peaceful—are actually bound to people or networks that God has clearly marked for disconnection. And if you’re not discerning, you will find yourself yoked to what you were once freed from.

This is why I’ve been relentlessly declaring the need for a radical awakening to the gift of discerning spirits. Not a shallow intuition. Not emotional skepticism. But Holy Spirit-led perception that pierces through soulish layers and unveils what spirit is truly operating behind the veil.

Discerning of spirits is not just a “side gift” for deliverance ministers—it is a survival gift for every believer, and a governing gift for those called to lead in this final hour. It’s the difference between partnering with destiny or falling into delay. Between building with living stones or mixing with strange fire.

This gift:

  • Divides between what’s anointed and what’s admired
  • Identifies spirits that mimic truth but operate in mixture
  • Protects against assignments disguised as assistance
  • Reads the frequency of a voice, not just the tone of their message

And we need this desperately. Because deception no longer looks demonic—it looks divine. The counterfeit has evolved. It doesn’t come yelling rebellion. It comes whispering agreement. It doesn’t knock down your door. It asks for a seat at your table. And if you are not governed by the Spirit, you’ll offer hospitality to sabotage.

Leaders, gatekeepers, intercessors: if ever there was a time to sharpen your discernment, it is now. Your ability to hear clearly in this hour will determine the purity of what you build. If you do not allow the Holy Spirit to inspect every alignment, you risk constructing with compromised materials.

Many are frustrated—not because of a lack of vision—but because of corrupted partnerships. You can’t build Zion with Babylonian bricks. You cannot steward the presence of God while partnering with those the Lord has marked as misaligned. There are connections that dilute your fire. Conversations that dull your hearing. Partnerships that make you question what God already made clear.

This is the hour to return to the altar of separation. To consecrate not only your actions, but your associations. The Holy Spirit is cleansing the camp, not out of harshness, but out of mercy. Because the rising Remnant cannot afford to walk with blinders on. We are being commissioned to build with precision, not popularity.

Let the gift of discerning spirits arise in you—not for judgment, but for governance. Not to puff up, but to protect the oil. To shield the pure thing God is birthing in this hour from mixture and manipulation.

The Lord is raising up shepherds who can smell the difference between sheep and wolves in sheep’s clothing. He’s commissioning watchmen who don’t just see danger—they feel it in their bones. He’s calling forth sons and daughters who will guard their gate with fasting, weeping, and authority.

So I say this with a trembling heart: Let Him govern your alignments. Let Him cleanse the prophetic gate. Let Him strip even the counterfeit covenants that once brought comfort. Because the price of tolerating mixture is the forfeiting of momentum.

You don’t need everyone. You need the right ones—those whose spirits resonate with what Heaven is building through you. Those whom the Father has assigned, not those whom the enemy has disguised.

This isn’t the hour of convenience. This is the hour of consecration.

The remnant is rising—and they will not be known by title or platform, but by purity, discernment, and unshakable alignment with the King.

I was going to post this last night on my facbook page, but Holy Spirit said to wait, and this morning He directed me to post here and share it on our other social media platforms.

In a recent encounter with the Lord, Holy Spirit repeated the following word in the same order 3 times: Visions, Dreams, Revelations, Prophetic wisdom and Application.

Then the Lord said; “I am refining and Re-defining My vison and Dream for you, your wife and Remnant Warrior Ministries that will carry you into new season as I Have decreed a shift in the Spiritual that is now manifesting in the natural, for I have declared this to be a New Age of the Church, the Kingdom Age”.

The Holy Spirit “Now is the time to cast the vision – Gather the Warriors”.

🔥 REMNANT WARRIOR MINISTRIES: BORN OF THE LORD, LED BY HIS SPIRIT! 🔥

Remnant Warrior Ministries was never the creation of man—it has been established by the sovereign hand of God. From the very beginning, this ministry has existed under the governing authority of Holy Spirit, guided by His wisdom, empowered by His presence, and commissioned for His divine purpose.

This is not a ministry built on human ambition—it is a Kingdom assignment forged in the fire of the Lord’s vision, birthed by the Spirit, and called forth to train, equip, and send warriors for the expansion of Heaven’s reign on Earth.

“Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that it will happen, it will be done for him.”

To the warriors, answer the call!
To the intercessors, raise your voice!
To the leaders, stand firm in truth!

Every stronghold of darkness will fall, every false system will crumble, and the fire of God will consume everything that is not aligned with His Kingdom!

🔥 THE LORD’S REMNANT IS RISING! 🔥

The Remnant is not just a scattered few—it is a divinely preserved company chosen by God, hidden for an appointed time. They have been sealed by His hand, refined by His fire, and entrusted with the fullness of His glory.

Throughout history, God has always reserved a Remnant—those who refuse to bow to the systems of compromise, who stand unwavering in their devotion to the Lord. This generation is no different. The Lord has been preparing His own, keeping them concealed until the moment of spiritual revelation.

Just as Gideon’s army hid their flaming torches inside clay pots, so has the Lord hidden His Remnant—carriers of His pure light, His undeniable glory. But the moment is coming when the Spirit of God will shatter the coverings, exposing the fire within His chosen ones! The light will pierce the darkness, break deception, and uproot every counterfeit system that has entrenched itself within the American Church.

📖 Isaiah 60:1 declares:
“Arise, shine; for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you!”

This is the hour! The Remnant is no longer silent. They will rise in authority, moving in supernatural discernment, power, and prophetic fire to dismantle the religious structures that have held the people captive.

🔥 No more pretense.
🔥 No more deception.
🔥 No more powerless tradition disguised as truth!

The Spirit of the Lord is exposing the systems that have replaced His presence with rituals, His voice with legalism, His power with dead works. The true Church is emerging—the Church that walks in the fullness of His Spirit!

🙌 Remnant warriors, your time is now! 🙌
⚔️ Stand firm in the truth.
⚔️ Walk boldly in the anointing of the Spirit.
⚔️ Let the fire within you break the chains that have held the Bride of Christ captive!

🔥 THIS IS THE AWAKENING OF A GENERATION! 🔥

The Lord’s Remnant will no longer be hidden. The light will shine, the captives will be set free, and the glory of the Lord will shake the nations!

🔥 DISCERNMENT: THE REMNANT’S MOST POWERFUL OFFENSIVE WEAPON! 🔥

‘and to another the working of miracles, and to another prophecy [foretelling the future, speaking a new message from God to the people], and to another discernment of spirits [the ability to distinguish sound, godly doctrine from the deceptive doctrine of man-made religions and cults], to another various kinds of [unknown] tongues, and to another interpretation of tongues. ‘ (1 Corinthians 12:10, AMP)

In the realm of spiritual warfare, many focus on power, prophecy, and the authority of declarations, yet one of the most underrated but absolutely critical weapons in the arsenal of God’s Remnant warriors is discernment of spirits. This is not just a defensive gift—it is an offensive weapon, one that pierces through deception, exposes demonic strategies, and dismantles the enemy’s strongholds before they manifest!

We are living in a time when false light masquerades as truth, where the enemy has infiltrated even the highest places of influence—including governments, ministries, and movements—to subtly reshape narratives, twist doctrine, and redirect destinies.

But the Lord has given His Remnant spiritual sight, an ability to see beyond words, beyond facades, beyond manipulation. Discernment is the safeguard that prevents warriors from being led astray, and it is the sword that cuts through the spiritual darkness attempting to enslave the people of God!

🚨 DISCERNMENT AS A SHIELD AGAINST DECEPTION! 🚨

📖 2 Corinthians 11:14 warns:
“And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light.”

The enemy does not always come as the obvious adversary. He infiltrates, disguises, and mimics righteousness so convincingly that even well-meaning believers can fall prey to false teaching, misleading movements, and counterfeit spiritual authority. That is why discernment is crucial—it is the lens through which we separate what is truly of God from what is a clever imitation of the truth.

The Remnant must operate in spiritual discernment to uncover:
⚔️ False leaders—those who use the Church for control rather than kingdom advancement.
⚔️ Deceptive doctrines—teachings that twist the Word of God to align with worldly ideologies.
⚔️ Counterfeit movements—ministries that claim to walk in power but operate under man’s agenda instead of God’s Spirit.
⚔️ Hidden snares—partnerships, alliances, and assignments that appear godly but carry a subtle spirit of compromise.

🔥 DISCERNMENT AS A WEAPON TO DESTROY THE ENEMY’S PLANS! 🔥

The greatest strategy of war is foresight—knowing the enemy’s moves before they strike. And discernment is the supernatural ability to recognize strongholds, demonic assignments, and hidden agendas before they have the chance to take root.

💥 With discernment, the Remnant will:
🔥 Expose the schemes of the enemy—unmasking the hidden plans before they unfold!
🔥 See beyond surface-level deception—preventing infiltration into churches, ministries, and kingdom assignments!
🔥 Release divine strategy—equipping warriors with prophetic precision on how to counterattack!
🔥 Establish true Kingdom centers—ensuring that training grounds for warriors remain pure, consecrated, and Spirit-filled!

📖 Hebrews 5:14 declares:
“But solid food is for the mature, who by constant use have trained themselves to distinguish good from evil.”

⚔️ DISCERNMENT MUST BE TRAINED AND SHARPENED! ⚔️

This is not a gift for the passive or the unprepared. Discernment must be cultivated through intimacy with the Holy Spirit, deep study of the Word, and a surrendered lifestyle that remains free from distraction and compromise.

🔹 WARRIORS, TRAIN YOUR EYES!—Your discernment must go beyond gut instinct. Ask the Holy Spirit for clear revelations, confirmation, and divine strategies.

🔹 INTERCESSORS, WATCH AND PRAY!—The Spirit reveals hidden dangers to those who seek Him in the secret place. Let your prayers pierce through enemy plans before they come to fruition!

🔹 PROPHETS, SPEAK BOLDLY!—As deception rises, the Remnant must stand unshaken, declaring the truth and confronting the counterfeits with Spirit-led authority!

🔥 THIS IS NOT A TIME FOR NAIVETY. THIS IS A TIME FOR SUPERNATURAL SIGHT! 🔥

The Remnant must wield the sword of discernment, standing as watchmen upon the walls, refusing to be led astray, refusing to allow the enemy to manipulate and redirect their God-given assignments!

🙌 Warriors, arise! Sharpen your discernment, wield it with wisdom, and step into this next phase of battle fully equipped! 🙌

This is the hour where the name “Remnant” has become a banner waved by many, yet not all who claim it carry the heart of God. There are those who have taken hold of this identity, not to serve the Kingdom, but to capitalize on the mighty move of the Holy Spirit. They cloak themselves in righteousness, yet behind the veil, their intentions are self-serving, drawing people into spiritual webs of deception, using their gifts as validation for building religious empires rather than equipping the saints.

🚨 BEWARE OF THE COUNTERFEITS! 🚨

📖 Matthew 7:15 warns:
“Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves.”

These deceptive structures do not seek to train, equip, and release—rather, they seek to take captive, enslave, and redirect destinies for personal gain. The counterfeit Remnant seduces warriors, stealing their identity under the guise of mentorship, only to twist their calling into submission under their own agenda.

⚔️ BUT THE TRUE REMNANT HAS A DIFFERENT CALL! ⚔️

This is a time of Apostolic equipping—a season where warriors must not merely follow but be trained to lead, to pray with supernatural authority, and to move cultural mountains into the sea through intercession!

🙌 THIS IS NOT A SEASON OF SUBMISSION TO RELIGIOUS SYSTEMS—THIS IS A SEASON OF DIVINE ACTIVATION! 🙌

🔹 To the Remnant—walk boldly! You are called to establish the Kingdom.
🔹 To the warriors—stand firm! Your voice is meant to shake nations.
🔹 To the intercessors—pray without ceasing! Your petitions will move mountains and shift cultures.

🔥 THE TRUE REMNANT CANNOT BE STOPPED. THE KINGDOM IS ADVANCING! 🔥

And in closing I want to touch on the following part of the Mandate that the Lord has also laid upon our hearts at Remnant Warrior Ministries:

🔥 REMNANT WARRIORS OF MAINE—THE TIME TO RISE IS NOW! 🔥

The Holy Spirit is moving powerfully, and the Lord is calling His Remnant in Maine to take their place in this divine mandate! This state was never meant to be forgotten—it was destined to be a Spiritual Gate, an entry point for the Fires of Revival that will sweep across America!

For too long, the religious spirit has sat enthroned, keeping Maine bound, silencing prophetic voices, and hindering the pure flow of God’s presence. But that time has come to an end! The Lord is tearing down every counterfeit altar, dismantling every system that opposes the move of His Spirit, and restoring Maine to its rightful place as a launchpad for His glory!

I decree this passage over the State of Maine:

Romans 13:11 declares:
“Do this, knowing that this is a critical time. It is already the hour for you to awaken from your sleep [of spiritual complacency]; for our salvation is nearer to us now than when we first believed [in Christ].”

🔥 MAINE SHALL BURN WITH HOLY FIRE! 🔥

From this gate, the Fires of Revival will ignite, sweeping down the East Coast, bouncing through Florida to impact California, and spreading across the West until this entire nation is set ablaze with the glory of God!

🚨 CALLING ALL WARRIORS, INTERCESSORS, AND KINGDOM BUILDERS! 🚨

📖 Joel 3:9-10 declares:
“Proclaim this among the nations: Prepare for war! Rouse the warriors! Let all the men of war draw near; let them come up. Beat your plowshares into swords, and your pruning hooks into spears. Let the weak say, ‘I am strong!’”

This is not a time for hesitation—this is a time for bold action! The remnant must rise, take position, and release Heaven’s agenda over Maine!

🔥 WARRIORS, STAND YOUR GROUND!
🛡️ Refuse to let the religious spirit dictate the move of God.
🛡️ Reject false coverings that seek to silence prophetic voices.
🛡️ Declare that Maine will be a beacon of revival, not a resting place for deception!

🔥 INTERCESSORS, LIFT YOUR VOICE!
🛡️ Release prayers that shake the foundations of darkness.
🛡️ Declare the Word of the Lord over Maine until it trembles under the weight of His glory.
🛡️ Tear down every stronghold that has resisted Heaven’s invasion!

🔥 APOSTOLIC LEADERS, STEP FORWARD!
🛡️ Train and equip the next generation of warriors who will carry revival through the nation.
🛡️ Establish Kingdom centers that will function as spiritual command posts for awakening.
🛡️ Do not shrink back—this is the hour of activation!

🔥 MAINE SHALL NOT REMAIN IN CHAINS! THE GATE IS OPEN—THE FIRE IS COMING! 🔥

This movement cannot be stopped. The Lord has spoken, and His warriors will answer. We will stand, we will fight, and we will declare that Maine belongs to the Lord!

🙌 THIS IS THE AWAKENING! THE TIME IS NOW! 🙌

Join us. Partner with the Holy Spirit. Step into your warrior assignment. The Kingdom is advancing—and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it!

Divine Blue Print for Biblical Leadership

What transformation might occur in our churches if leaders pursued the faithful integrity of Zadok and Joseph rather than the metrics of corporate success?

Kingdom Leadership

Leadership in God’s economy has always been distinct from worldly patterns of authority. When Jesus declared, “You know that the rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and their great ones exercise authority over them. It shall not be so among you” (Matthew 20:25-26), He established a fundamental principle: authentic spiritual leadership operates from a different framework than secular power structures. The examples of Zadok and Joseph illustrate this divine blueprint in action.

Scripture presents leadership not primarily as position or privilege but as stewardship—temporary responsibility for resources and people ultimately belonging to God. Joseph recognized this reality when managing both Potiphar’s household and later Egypt’s resources during famine. At no point did he treat his authority as personal possession or platform for self-advancement. Similarly, Zadok fulfilled his priestly duties as sacred trust rather than personal territory. This stewardship mindset transforms how leaders approach their roles, creating accountability that transcends human oversight.

Consider the difference between renters and caretakers. A renter occupies space temporarily with minimal investment, often focused on extracting maximum benefit for minimum cost. A caretaker, however, manages property on behalf of the owner, making decisions based on the owner’s priorities rather than personal preference. Too many contemporary leaders function as renters in their ministries—utilizing resources, people, and platforms for personal advancement without deep investment in the community’s long-term flourishing. Zadok and Joseph exemplify caretaker leadership, recognizing their responsibility to the true Owner of all they managed.

The Apostle Paul emphasized alignment with biblical teachings when he instructed Timothy to “follow the pattern of the sound words that you have heard from me” (2 Timothy 1:13). This commitment to scriptural fidelity must guide every leadership decision, from organizational structures to worship practices to community engagement. When leaders substitute cultural relevance, pragmatic effectiveness, or personal preference for biblical principles, they abandon the very foundation that legitimizes their spiritual authority.

Biblical alignment requires more than occasional scripture references attached to predetermined strategies. It demands allowing God’s Word to shape our fundamental understanding of success, methods, and goals. Joseph could have implemented Egyptian methods of governance without reference to covenant principles, but his leadership reflected deeper values rooted in his faith heritage. Today’s leaders must likewise allow scripture to critique their assumptions about growth, programming, and measurement rather than merely justifying existing approaches with selected texts.

Leadership that reflects scriptural principles prioritizes character formation over program expansion. Both Zadok and Joseph underwent years of testing before assuming their most significant leadership roles. Joseph spent thirteen years as slave and prisoner before his governmental appointment; Zadok served faithfully under previous priests before assuming the high priesthood. This pattern of preparation through trials appears consistently throughout scripture, from Moses’ forty years in Midian to David’s wilderness wanderings to Paul’s years in Arabia. Contemporary ministry’s obsession with rapid advancement often shortcircuits this essential formation process.

The consistent pattern of scripture shows that God measures leadership success differently than humans do. While we often count attendance, facilities, budgets, and influence, biblical evaluation focuses on faithfulness, integrity, spiritual fruit, and alignment with divine purposes. Jesus Himself warned against equating visible results with spiritual success when He described impressive ministries that would ultimately hear, “I never knew you; depart from me” (Matthew 7:23). Leaders must resist the temptation to substitute worldly metrics for divine approval.

Worldly leadership models often emphasize positional authority and hierarchical control. By contrast, scriptural leadership operates through servant influence and moral authority. Joseph led through wisdom and integrity rather than dominance; Zadok’s influence flowed from his faithfulness rather than asserting priestly prerogatives. Jesus crystallized this distinction when He declared, “Whoever would be great among you must be your servant” (Matthew 20:26). When contemporary leaders attempt to control through position rather than influence through character, they abandon biblical leadership principles.

The faithful leadership exemplified by Zadok and Joseph provides a timeless blueprint that challenges and corrects our modern ministry paradigms. Their examples show us that leadership aligned with biblical teachings prioritizes character over charisma, faithfulness over fame, and divine approval over human acclaim. The church today desperately needs leaders who will embody these principles, standing firmly in the righteous tradition of Zadok and the faithful wisdom of Joseph.

The Countercultural Path of Righteous Leadership

The paths walked by Zadok and Joseph diverged sharply from those traveled by many of their contemporaries. While others sought positional advantage, personal comfort, or public acclaim, these men oriented their lives around a different axis—unwavering commitment to God’s ways regardless of personal cost. Their countercultural journeys offer profound insight for today’s leaders navigating equally challenging terrain.

Zadok’s steadfast loyalty to David during Absalom’s rebellion represents a pivotal moment revealing the priest’s character. The politically expedient choice would have been aligning with Absalom, whose forces had gained significant momentum and whose victory seemed likely. Many religious leaders throughout history have compromised their convictions to remain close to power. Yet Zadok recognized a higher principle—God had chosen David, and human rebellion couldn’t nullify divine appointment. His loyalty wasn’t primarily to David personally but to the role David occupied as God’s anointed leader.

What remarkable transformation might occur if contemporary Christian leaders approached their calling with similar clarity! When ministry decisions revolve around maintaining institutional stability, preserving donor relationships, or avoiding controversy rather than pursuing divine directives, we abandon the path Zadok walked. True spiritual leadership often requires standing against prevailing trends—even religious ones—when they contradict God’s revealed truth. Zadok’s example calls today’s leaders to evaluate each decision not by its popularity or practicality but by its alignment with God’s established order.

Joseph’s response to sexual temptation with Potiphar’s wife establishes another countercultural marker for godly leadership. Unlike many powerful men who view sexual access as a perk of position, Joseph recognized that his authority brought responsibility rather than entitlement. “How then could I do this great wickedness, and sin against God?” he asked—revealing that his decision flowed not from fear of discovery but from awareness of divine presence. This integration of sexuality and spirituality stands sharply counter to both ancient and modern separations between religious performance and personal conduct.

Contemporary church culture has been repeatedly wounded by leaders who compartmentalize their lives—maintaining public ministry personas disconnected from private moral failures. The devastating impact of such hypocrisy extends far beyond individual ministries, undermining trust in spiritual leadership broadly. Joseph’s example calls leaders to recognize that no aspect of life stands outside spiritual accountability—that private choices reveal true character more accurately than public performances. His integrity challenges the modern tendency to separate “professional” ministry from personal morality.

Zadok’s commitment to proper worship procedures during politically volatile circumstances demonstrated another countercultural principle: faithful leaders prioritize divine standards over expedient alternatives. When David fled Jerusalem during Absalom’s rebellion, Zadok initially brought the Ark of the Covenant with him—but David instructed him to return it to its proper place. Despite the uncertainty of the situation, Zadok maintained proper worship practices rather than using sacred objects as political tools or personal protection. His example challenges leaders to maintain doctrinal and practical integrity even when circumstances suggest compromise might yield better outcomes.

In a religious climate where methodology often trumps theology—where “what works” frequently displaces “what’s true”—Zadok’s commitment to proper worship provides crucial correction. Authentic spiritual leadership remains faithful to fundamental truths and practices even when innovation promises greater response. This doesn’t preclude thoughtful contextualization, but it establishes non-negotiable boundaries around essentials. Leaders walking in Zadok’s footsteps distinguish between cultural preferences and covenant commitments, willing to adapt methods while preserving core truths.

Joseph’s administrative wisdom during Egypt’s famine crisis illustrates another countercultural leadership principle: preparation for future challenges rather than optimization for present comfort. While others might have consumed available resources immediately, Joseph implemented systems to preserve resources through anticipated hardship. This long-term perspective often conflicts with contemporary expectations for immediate results and constant growth. In ministry contexts driven by quarterly metrics and annual reports, the patience required for sustainable impact frequently succumbs to pressure for visible outcomes.

Leaders following Joseph’s example recognize that meaningful impact rarely aligns with artificial reporting periods. Character development, discipleship maturation, and community transformation operate on God’s timeline rather than institutional calendars. The leader committed to lasting rather than immediate impact may appear less successful by conventional metrics but produces fruit that remains. Joseph’s willingness to implement unpopular policies during plenty to prepare for future famine challenges today’s leaders to prioritize long-term faithfulness over short-term popularity.

Both Zadok and Joseph demonstrate perhaps the most countercultural leadership characteristic: genuine humility expressed through faithful service rather than position or recognition. Despite their significant roles, neither man’s narrative focuses on personal accomplishment or acclaim. Joseph explicitly redirected credit to God when interpreting dreams; Zadok performed his duties without seeking the spotlight. This self-effacing approach stands in stark contrast to contemporary leadership cultures celebrating personality and platform. The path walked by these biblical exemplars leads away from self-promotion toward faithful stewardship.

In an age where ministry success often equates with personal brand development, social media following, and platform expansion, the quiet faithfulness modeled by Zadok and Joseph offers profound correction. Their examples remind us that spiritual authority flows not from visibility but from integrity—not from acclaim but from alignment with divine purposes. Leaders walking in their footsteps measure impact not by personal recognition but by community transformation, not by platform size but by faithfulness to divine calling.

Which leadership model is of the Kingdom?

In January of 2022, as the Lord freed me from my service as director at a rescue and recovery mission in Jacksonville beach, to that of the lead Elder at a Church my wife and I had been in relationship with since 2012. As I accepted the role of leadership at Highway to Heaven Church, I did so not just by my inclination but the wise council of a couple of apostolic elders the Lord has placed in my life.

Before I accepted it, having received the council from others,  I continued to seek the Lord for several more days. On the seventh day I listened as Holy Spirit delivered the Lord’s mandate on this transition. “You must follow My lead and return this congregation back to the original intent for my Ecclesia, and allow Me to teach them through you to reset the house to where it stands on the foundational teaching of the Gospel of my Kingdom.

 Until it is established on that foundation, you will see no increase, but when that foundation is established, I will begin sending those for whom I ordained to co-labor with this Kingdom family.

But heed this warning, do not teach them to follower you, or to listen to your voice alone. You must allow Holy Spirit to train them to follow the One true God who dwells in you, even as He dwells in them”.

Ever since I received that commissioning, I have not strayed from the mandate He gave me.

If we are honest we can discern that the vast majority of the Church today struggles in the area of leadership in many ways. Take for example, how often have you heard someone quoting their pastor more than they do the scriptures? Or have you ever attended a “Gathering” where they claim there is no leadership needed in the New Testament Church?

Now a true student of the Word would be lead by the Spirit to interpret Paul’s writings in the New Testament that emphasize submitting to Christ and His teachings, but do not emphasis to submit completely to Paul himself or to any other human authority, even within the church.

While Paul serves as an apostle and a teacher of the gospel, the ultimate authority in the Christian faith and practice is Christ.

Elaboration:

Submission to Christ:

Paul’s writings, particularly in Ephesians, encourage Christians to “submit to one another out of reverence for Christ”. This implies that Christians should submit to one another, reflecting the love and humility of Christ, rather than prioritizing their own opinions or desires.

Paul as an Apostle and Teacher:

Paul is recognized as a key apostle and teacher of the gospel, and his writings offer valuable guidance for Christians. However, his authority comes from his position as an apostle and teacher, not from a claim to ultimate authority over the Christian faith.

Christ as the Head of the Church:

Paul often uses the metaphor of the Church as the body of Christ, with Christ as the Head. This implies that Christ’s teachings and leadership should be the guiding principles for the Church, not the teachings of any particular apostle or human leader.

Avoiding Human Authority:

Paul’s writings also caution against elevating any individual or group to a position of excessive authority, even within the church. Instead, Christians are encouraged to seek guidance from Holy Spirit and rthe the scriptures as well as to cultivate humility and respect for one another, reflecting the humility and service of Christ.

Submission to One Another:

Paul’s writings in Ephesians and other letters also emphasize the importance of mutual submission among Christians. This means that Christians should willingly defer to one another’s needs, opinions, and gifts, rather than seeking to dominate or control others.

Focus on Christ’s Love and Sacrifice:

Paul’s writings consistently highlight the love and sacrifice of Christ as the foundation of the Christian faith. Christians are called to love and serve one another, mirroring Christ’s own love and self-sacrifice.

Now I am in no way implying that there are NO leaders in the Church. In fact, I have witnessed the restoration of true Ecclesia leadership over the past 2 decades as Holy Spirit has been restoring the Apostolic leadership in the Church.

What does this mean?

With a renewed revelation of the Christ centered and led leadership,  it’s also very important that we understand that while this re-alignment has been taking place, satan has been busy infiltrating the Church with his own false apostles, those who are power hungry and seek not just the adoration of the people, but almost demand their loyalty to them and them alone.

 Such are they who twist such scriptures such that speak of the power of Christ, to that of their own power. Case in point Revelation 12:11, which in the KJV reads:

 “And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death”.

 Their twist in this passage of scripture is they prefer to re-direct the attention of the people by replacing the focus as not so much on the Blood of the Lamb but on them and their leadership by the boasting of what “they’ve” done, thus everyone needs to die to their own needs so that they can attend to the needs of the Church leadership.

I have found that out of all the translations out there I am most keen to the passion translation, especially with regard to this passage of scripture as I believe it turns it into something that one could actually hear Jesus telling John:

 “They conquered him completely through the blood of the Lamb and the powerful word of his testimony. They triumphed because they did not love and cling to their own lives, even when faced with death”.

Wow, this brings it home with no room for misinterpretation as to being about Christ, and the powerful deeds that He has done in and through our lives. Even when the enemy comes to try and boost your ego and stir up your pride, the response of the child of God immediately deflates the enemy’s attempt as they respond with. “No you have it all wrong, it was not me that did this, but He who dwells in me, the Lord God”.

Now, if you find yourself under such a leader, pause, and seek the Lord, ask Him if this individual is of His Kingdom or that of the enemy. Holy Spirit will guide you. I have found that true leaders in the Body of Christ are just like the Lord, desiring that those they are discipling to grow and mature into doing even greater deeds than they themselves. They guide, correct and direct from the resevour of Christ’s love in them, never to boost their own image but to encourage the very image of the Lord in others to shine brightly.

A message of Spiritual Course Corrections

The following is a picture into the 20 years of life and ministry which includes set backs, detours, road blocks and many course corrections, written from a humble heart filled with gratefulness to a loving God..

This morning during my walk with Holy Spirt and the SkyBear (my German Shepherd) I was led to look back on my life since 2001.

On December 31 of that year I decided to get a fresh start and moved to Jacksonville for what I thought would be a short stay, as I came here to attend a school to get my CDL.

But Holy Spirit pointed out that it was a path ordained of the Father, for little did I know that it would lead to me attending a Church service where I would repent and rededicate my life to the Lord after 20 some years of living in rebellion.

 I came down to attend a school to my CDL, which I did and started driving for a company based in Jacksonville with plans of driving around the country.

But Holy Spirt showed me that because I was avoiding the call on my life to preach the Gospel, which the Father called me to do when I was just 10 years old while sitting in a Methodist Church in Patten Maine

My plans of driving around the country, however that thought came to an abrupt end when I fell off the top of a load and messed up my right knee. This took place in the spring of 2002 Holy Spirit then showed me that the Father allowed an accident to happen so as to redirect my life to the steps that would lead me to fulfill His calling on my life.

 During my recovery I decided to attend ministry school and met a man of God, Dr. Don Lynch, who became my Spiritual father.

Also during that time, I found myself looking a the Christian Mingle dating website where I happened across this beautiful Filipino, who just happened to be here on a student visa and was attending Brownsville Revival School of Ministry in Pensacola Florida.

We began chatting and during the Thanksgiving break she came to Jacksonville to visit her former pastor and his wife who had pastored a Church in Hong Kong, where she was the Sunday School teacher.

We began dating and I would drive to Pensacola where the school was and attended a number of powerful revival meetings. Then at the beginning of  February (2003) I had a dream where Jesus led me to an ocean beach, He bent down and picked up two small stones and said “One of these stones has been brought here from another nation having flowed with the currents of the ocean, for the Father purposed the time when they would be joined together.

So has He brought Emilie (My wife’s name, for those who know her by her nick name Millette) to be joined with you in marriage. I was overwhelmed and went out a bought an engagement ring and decided to ask her to marry me while I visited her for Valentine’s Day.

Now do to a past of many rejections, I had to muster up all the courage I had and drive over from Jacksonville. When I arrived at the home she was staying in I got down on one knee and proposed to her.

Her answer was, No, followed by I don’t even like you that way. Well let’s just say the wind was taking out of my sails. However I had this inner peace where I knew what the Lord had said, so I simply turned it over to Him.

A couple months later while she was visiting a friend in San Diego, she called me and said she had a dream and the Lord told her she was to marry me. We made plans and she graduated in May of 2003, and we got married on June 14th of 2003.

I had a full-time job while at the same time I continued my schooling. We had some struggles but the Lord always saw us through them. Then on June 6, 2004 we were blessed with a beautiful gift from God. For on that day, my wife gave birth to our son, Joshua Karsten Welch.

The Lord had given me his first name which in Hebrew means “Yahweh is salvation” and He gave my wife his second name, which in Greek means “Anointed”. The Lord shared with me why I was to call him Joshua, for he would be the first in many generation of our family to serve him and not be taking captives to addictions or any other curse that was in our family line.

In fact He said that the anpointing He was going to place on His life, would be like the blast shofars sounding, and the sounds of the people, that saw the walls of Jericho come crumbling down. So would the generational curses be cut of by my son, Joshua obedience to the Lord’s call on his life.

Let me take a moment to share a powerful testimony. I had always suffered with migraine headaches from my childhood all the way into my adulthood. Migraines were a curse which had plagued our family for several generation. When Josh was five years old, there was a day when I was unable to do anything because of a migraine, and he begged me to take him to the park. I said your going to have to ask Jesus to take daddy’s headache away.

He leaned over me, placed his little hand on my forehead and said “Jesus, take this stupid headache off my daddy, and tell it to never return”. That headache went away instantly and I have never had a migraine since that humble, innocent hearted prayer offered up by my son.

After graduating with an associate degree in the fall of 2004, I was ordained in February of 2005 and we were led by Holy Spirit to start a ministry called Mighty Arm Ministries, which at the time primarily focused on the elderly in nursing homes.

The Lord said this is a call to be a Spiritual Gatekeeper, as these are those who are about to enter their eternal destiny. Glory to God, for during that time we witnessed a number of people accepting the Lord. My son at 6 years old played a part, as every Sunday he would go with me, knock on the doors, and say “You wanna come here Jesus”. There was a man named Doc, who every week would say “Not today preacher boy”

Then one Sunday to our surprise, he came down, then came back for several more weeks. Then one Sunday, he asked the Lord Jesus Christ to be His Lord. The very next week, he passed in his sleep, but praise the Lord, we know we will see him again one day.

In the spring of 2005 something happened that caused us to leave the Church we had attended since getting married, and I had attended since 2002. Holy Spirt showed me that the Father had allowed this so that we would start holding a Church service in a local nursing home.

Holy Spirit at the time, showed me that many in that home had the desire to go to church but none would pick them up, so the Lord said “Bring my Church to them”.

In the fall of 2005, my Spiritual father (Dr. Don Lynch) who had also left the Church, invited my wife and into attend a weekly meeting they were hosting in their home under the Ministry name the Father had given him called “Ministry Matrix”. Shortly thereafter the Lord led me to take the position known which is referred to as an “Armor Bearer”. Then in November of 2007, we were ordained as leaders in that ministry.

Thing happened that caused us to leave in the beginning of 2010, which Holy Spirt showed me this morning, that the Father had allowed, even though left due to a spirit of rebellion. We went back into doing Sunday services at the nursing home and then in the fall of that year we were invited to be part of the leadership team to launch a new Church start.

 In the spring of 2013, the Lord called me to leave that Church as He had an assignment for me at a local bikers Church, pastored by Chet “Preacher man” Harden. I became the associate pastor there from 2013 up until the Spring of 2016, shortly after having a powerful life changing encounter with the Lord , which stripped me of all the religious garments I had allowed the spirit of religion to put on me, and to be honest, that encounter literally changed my whole theology.

In December of 2015, we were part of the leadership team that founded the “Riverhouse” ministry. After resigning from Highway to Heaven (On a friendly note) in the fall of 2016, I started leading a Sunday service at the Riverhouse.

In 2018 we launched the North Florida Healing rooms” which my wife and I we co-directors. Then, jumping to the fall of 2019, the enemy had some how caused division between me and the other founding leader which led my wife and I to leave that ministry.

However, again looking back on that situation this morning, Holy Spirit showed me that the Father had allowed this to happen as He had a new assignment for me. Ultimately that ministry shut down after the founder went to be with the Lord after a long battle with cancer(lesson in that for a later date).

That assignment was to become the director of a homeless rescue mission in Jacksonville Beach, which lasted until February of 2022. On August 19, 2020, my son and I visited the place of a powerful nation changing revival, Cane Ridge in Kentucky with my son. That date was actually the 219th year anniversary of that revival. We spent about 2 hours walking around, reading the grave stones, and soaking in the presence of the Lord.

 Holy Spirit spoke to me about 30 minutes after leaving there and said “The Father wants you to go back and start discipling His Children even as Jesus discipled His. I immediately said cool.

But then about an hour later, I said what does that even look like, as I have come to believe the Church as a whole has wander away from Christ-like discipleship.

 He began downloading what that looked like, which started with “Jesus discipled the men who followed Him by pouring into them, everything the Father had poured into Him. So unlike giving discipleship teaching from the pulpit, or even holding weekly discipleship meeting, the style Jesus displayed was relational, interacting with each other pretty much on a daily basis.

I started to implement this at the mission, and witnessed the Lord doing some powerful works in the disciple who were at the mission. But then, in the fall of 2021, a spirit of Jezebel, jealousy, and offense took hold of a few members of the leadership. And they began conspiring again with me in the secret place of darkness.

Now, what was happening at the mission up to that point can only be described in a way that gives Glory to the Father, as a portal of Heaven was opened up there. One lesson I learned during that time was I neglected to gather intercessor for me and the mission as a whole.

 Now, looking back at the time I left Highway to Heaven Church, which I previously mentioned that I  left on good terms. I had actually started preaching back there once a month in 2018, then it transitioned into twice per month in 2021.

 In the fall of that year, pastor Chet approached me and said he was considering retiring and wanted me to take his place. This was troubling to me, as I felt the Lord wanted me at the mission.

However, Holy Spirt showed me that I never actually asked the Father. He then showed me that during a Thanksgiving visit to Maine, He had allowed a coup to take place at the mission. What He had allowed to transpire was do to a door I unknowingly opened a door, as having been in a major spiritual battle over the mission for close to 6 months had taking its toll on me, and I began to respond out of the flesh.

This open door gave access to the spirit of disobedience to take place to where the Father’s call to make disciples as had His Son, was put on a shelf. However, having witnessed to results while the discipleship like Jesus was taking place, Holy Spirit said that it was but a foreshadow of what would be the mark of my wife and my calling.

He then shared with me that the mission was not prepared for what He desired to do there. Now from November of 2021 through January of 2022, the spiritual battle I faced every day got uglier and uglier.

I had previously mentioned my departure from the ministry led by Dr. Don Lynch. Shortly after my encounter with the Lord on March 28, 2016, Holy Spirit opened the door for Dr. Don and I for reconciliation After which I was led to lean into his mentorship more and more while at the same time, having been seated by the Lord in the spring of 2016, under the teachings of Apostle Damon Thompson. Holy Spirit also led me to attend many of the Under the Oaks meetings he has held over the years, which I still attend.

But back to the mission and Dr. Don Lynch. In January of 2022, I had multiple conversations with him regarding what was happening at the mission, then at the start of February I had a dream where the Lord said He was calling me to Shepherd the people at Highway to Heaven Church.

I shared this dream with Dr. Don who not only said he felt a witness to the dream but as he put it in classic Apostle Don Lynch fashion “Son, if God told you he wants you to do that, you’d better do it”. We ended the conversation with a “let’s get together after my heart surgery as I have somethings to share with you that I received while praying for you and your wife.

Needless to say that meeting, as a few days after his surgery, he went to be with the Lord. I took is wise advice, resigned from the mission and accepted the position of Senior Pastor at the Church.

However, I felt a loss in my life, not having a Spiritual father to run things by and on occasions have a heart check. Yes, I am most certainly matured enough to lead a Church, and even though I have spiritual sons myself, I understand and fully grasp the importance of having an Apostolic covering, as it is one of the spiritual guard rails the Lord has equipped the Church with.

Needless to say, if was a powerful meeting with Holy Spirit. If I could draw a map of what has taken place over the past 20 years, it would show my stepping off the ordained path, a series of roadblocks which lead to course corrections. In spite of the many times, in which I rebelled failing to ask the Father His desire, and took hold of the spiritual steering wheel of my life, the grace and mercy of the Father has always brought a course correction which I have to be honest almost always came with a hand of discipline.

Today, having just entered a new year, I have committed to dealing with things on a daily basis, leaving tomorrow in the wise hands of the Father. For did not our Lord say: Refuse to worry about tomorrow, but deal with each challenge that comes your way, one day at a time.  Tomorrow will take care of itself.” (Matthew 6:34, TPT)

One of the early lessons Dr. Don taught me was maintaining the ability of never leave a place with offense, but rather leave with the gold that you received – meaning we are to take the good things (lessons, revelations and Kingdom truths) with us, and  a heart of forgiveness and even repentance, leave the negative things behind.

So with that in mind, I am committed to living my life and all the tomorrows it has, under the governing authority of the One whom the Father sent, to lead us into all Spiritual truths, Holy Spirit.

Is your life a reflection of the Lord in you?

The Christian life, as practiced in many American churches rooted in Western theology, often reflects a commitment to certain principles of truth. This life, while earnest and sincere, is frequently characterized by a conformity to doctrines and interpretations that may not fully encapsulate the essence of living in Christ.

In contrast, the authentic ecclesia—those truly embodying the teachings of Christ—embraces a Christ-centric lifestyle, one that is animated by the Holy Spirit and deeply rooted in a direct relationship with Jesus.

At its core, the average Christian life typically involves an earnest effort to emulate Christ. Believers strive to align their actions with the Church’s interpretations of His teachings, attempting to live according to established principles.

While this commitment is commendable, it often leads to a performance-driven mindset that can create feelings of inadequacy or frustration. The challenge lies in the distinction between imitation and incarnation; the former is a conscious effort to replicate Christ’s actions, while the latter acknowledges the transformative power of Christ’s life living within the believer.

“The first more often than not seeks to imitate their pastor, where as the latter is totally surrendered to the Lord life being exampled in their lives”

The true essence of the Christian experience transcends mere imitation. It is about allowing Christ’s own life to take residence in one’s heart, leading to a profound transformation that cannot be achieved through human strength alone.

This divine life, fueled by Holy Spirit, empowers believers to overcome obstacles and challenges that, in their own power, they could not conquer. It invites them into a relational dynamic with Jesus, where His strength becomes their strength, and His victory becomes their victory.

For many, this may be a new and perhaps startling thought. The idea that the life of Christ can be realized within each believer is revolutionary, although not a new revelation. It shifts the focus from striving for moral perfection to embracing the grace that comes from a genuine relationship with Christ.

This notion stands as one of the most profound truths in the cosmos, offering a sense of hope and liberation to those who are weary from the burdens of religious obligation. In summary, while many American churches foster a sincere commitment to Christian principles, there is a deeper reality available to believers—a Christ-centered existence that is not merely about effort but about surrendering to the life of Christ within.

Some may find this perspective to be a novel thought, perhaps even challenging the traditional notions of what it means to live a Christian life. However, I can personally attest to the truth and power of this “Best Thought” in all of the cosmos.

It is a liberating revelation that offers hope and encouragement to those weary from the burdens of religious performance. Embracing a Christ-centric lifestyle enables us to experience a deeper intimacy with God, a profound joy in our daily walk, and the empowerment to face life’s difficulties with resilience

The essence of authentic Christianity: a living, dynamic relationship with Jesus, activated by the Holy Spirit, that empowers believers to live victoriously in a way that their own strength cannot achieve.

As we cultivate this relationship, we not only experience personal renewal but also become conduits of grace and hope in a world desperately in need of the authentic message of the Gospel. Let us pursue this deeper relationship, allowing Christ’s life to shine through us in all its glory.
